This restaurant is worth its weight in gold; the food is amazing and the prices are so reasonable. We tried many lunch combos, chicken fried rice surprised us, pad thai is good, their curry stuff are all good. Though there’s only one waiter, he could reach everyone nicely. Great experience for my family.

The food was excellent. Service was on point and very friendly, ordered green curry with extra chicken, pad Thai with prawns, Tom kah soup, crispy wraps and pla muck Tod (calarmi). All of this far to around $75. I would say the price was decent. Will return for sure! Thanks!!

Sent my cousins who have special needs here they loved the food but the server took advantage of them and keyed in a 25% tip for themselves. We called back and they said that’s what they were trying to click and just wanted to help them. however, our receipt tells that the options don’t go that high. Very shady behaviour. The food was good but not a great experience

So delicious, 10/10! We ordered the summer rolls (with sauce made on site!) pa-nang curry with prawns (so fragrant and rich!) and the beef cashew stir fry (beef super tender, crunchy veggies and sprinkled with whole cashews). Portions are generous! For dessert , couldn’t resist the coconut ice cream (also made on site), sprinkled with crushed peanuts what a combo! Will definitely come back again and again! Wish the team a lot of success!

What a wonderful restaurant! My husband and I stopped by for lunch today. We had the Thai iced tea, calamari, red curry with chicken and chicken pad Thai lunch specials. The crispy chicken wontons were the best I’ve ever had. Everything else was just as delicious! We will definitely be back. It was also really affordable, when the bill came I double checked it to make sure nothing was forgotten it was so cheap. Less than $50 for everything before tip.

We visit Chilliwack often and usually go for Western food when dining out. Today, we were craving Asian cuisine, so we searched on Google and carefully read through the reviews. We discovered this Thai restaurant—not many reviews yet, but the ratings were excellent.
The restaurant itself is cozy with simple decor, but it has a charming Thai ambiance. The server greeted us promptly and brought us two glasses of water right away. We ordered the deep-fried squid, shrimp cakes, Pad Thai, and the chef’s special fried rice.
Our appetizers arrived quickly, beautifully presented with two intricately carved carrot flowers on each plate. The vibrant colors and thoughtful plating really boosted our appetites.
The Pad Thai was unique—it came with noodles, shredded cabbage salad, and crispy wontons. The squid was lightly battered, allowing the freshness of the squid to come through. The shrimp cakes were perfectly thick and delicious, and dipping them into the sweet and tangy sauce elevated the flavor even more.
Both the noodles and wontons were fantastic, especially the texture of the wonton wrappers. The fried rice was incredibly flavorful—each grain was packed with taste. Truly outstanding.
Overall, this meal was an absolute delight. The quality and value here surpass many Thai restaurants we’ve tried in Vancouver. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Thai food!

The absolute best authentic Thai food. Service was friendly and helpful.
The owner and Chef greeted each table and inquired as too the satisfaction of the food.
I had the papaya salad. It was perfect. Not too sweet, and the perfect amount of fish sauce. The presentation was five star.
The Pad Thai with chicken was plentiful, the noodles well cooked and the sauce not overly sweet. A perfect blend of tamarind and palm or brown sugar. Bravo.
It’s worth a drive and don’t miss the mango and sticky rice dessert. The mango melts in your mouth.

Today, despite the heavy rain, I decided to order delivery from this famous Thai restaurant that I know so well. As soon as I walked in to pick up my order, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel friendly right away. Their kindness brought a warm feeling on such a dreary day. As it was pouring rain, there was no one in the restaurant and most of it was takeout, which gave me a chance to chat with the staff for a while. The atmosphere inside is very warm and the environment is very clean. I decided at that time that I must come back for dinner next time.

I ordered green curry and shrimp cakes. The aroma of curry and coconut were very strong, and there was a lot of chicken. They are absolutely delicious. The flavor is amazing and has authentic traditional flavors that are often hard to find. After finishing both meals, I was so impressed that I went back to the restaurant and ordered the chef’s special fried rice. The fried rice is great. The flavor of the fried rice is perfectly blended with the hint of basil. It has a unique taste. I highly recommend everyone to order this fried rice.

Btw, when taking it out, the they also sealed the curry bowl with plastic wrap to prevent it from overflowing, which was really considerate.

The excellent quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere convinced me to come back again to try more dishes, especially their other fried rice varieties and soups. Will definitely come back to visit this restaurant. If you are looking for authentic delicious Thai food in a friendly and clean environment this place is a must visit. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of their menu.

This food is insanely good, and massive portions for a reasonable price. Take this as your sign to try Thai Taste. I love the cashew chicken and panag curry, and their spring rolls, delish! Try it out!! Food is amazing !

I came here last summer for lunch after I drove out to Chilliwack from Vancouver for a day trip. I wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the Pad Thai was. I haven’t had much Thai food before so I didn’t know how it compared to Pad Thai in general, but I really enjoyed it. Back in Vancouver, I went on a Pad Thai binge at several different restaurants and can confidently say that Thai Taste was BY FAR the best Pad Thai I’d ever had. I would never have expected that level of quality from an unassuming restaurant in a generic looking Chilliwack strip mall. Hidden gem for sure!
