I took my friend out to dinner here for her birthday. It was my first time eating at Thai Tair and now I’m moving myself for not having tried it sooner. We got there at 6:00 (Tuesday) and had the entire place to ourselves, but by the time we left, the place was full, so if you want to avoid the crowd, come early.

We had the tofu appetizers, which were good, and she had the Thai Tea and let me have a sip; it was just amazing. I made a note to myself to stop by and get one for myself later. I had the Hibachi stir fry with tofu and sticky rice, and she had curry with white rice. They were both mouth wateringly delicious! I figured it being a Thai restaurant, everything might be too spicy for me, but that wasn’t the case. They have all levels of spiciness for ever taste. Dessert was banana egg rolls and they were delicious too. They’re very small, but you get six and they’re just right! I definitely will be coming back!

It was our first time visiting and this restaurant exceeded our expectations with food and service! Our lunches came with a crispy eggroll. Drunken noodles and pad thai were really good. Lunch portion is generous and even my husband had leftovers, which rarely happens. I also ordered the shrimp and veggie tempura. I thought it would only be a few pieces, but I got a humongous serving in the to-go box. We were able to do free parallel parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located in Downtown China Grove surrounded by cute shops. It’s definitely worth the visit.

We had Drunken Noodles w chicken, Ginger stir fried veggies w chicken, Orange Chicken, Lamb Delight, Fried and Steamed Dumplings, and Crab Rangoon. EVERYTHING is handmade fresh to your order. Paul the host/server answered all of our questions and we even got to meet the cook. Anything we needed, they helped us with. Everyone is so nice and it’s very clean We’ll definitely be back!

Thai Tair is one of a few Asian restaurants open on Sunday in our area. Fortunately for us, we love dining here. Great variety on the menu. Food is fresh and delicious, served with flair. The staff here are always so warm and friendly. It’s like visiting friends. Customer service is top notch. Clean, contemporary and fulfilling. On our last dining experience we got beef Pho. Oh wow, it sure hit the spot. There is table seating so if you are solo or in a group, you can be accommodated. There is also counter seating as well. There are a couple of monitors with the game playing but the volume was low or off while we were there. Street parking, and parking in back. Thai Tair is a 10 out of 10 in my book. Always enjoy going back.

Wowwwww! This family owned place is excellent! Clean place with a 99+ sanitation score ☺️ and the food is superb! They’ll probably know who wrote this being I mentioned their Sani score lol! Price point and food portions are aligned which in this day and time is surprising. Good music to vibe too while eating authentic Thai food puts you in a good mood. A true gold mine. The Red Curry dish hit different . I was lucky to meet the owner and family they were such nice folks. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. They take pride in their restaurant and are not playing any games! Go now!!!

Thai tair, meaning real Thai, is a real gem located in China Grove, NC. Just 16 minutes from Concord, the food is worth the travel. My wife had crab rangoon for appetizers, along with spring rolls. My sister had flat noodles with chicken and shrimp, my wife the same thing, while I had Lo mein with crispy chicken, and my daughter had miso soup with crackers. Sauces and chili paste are provided, along with soft drinks or hot tea, if you’d like. Pleasant owners, accommodating and really nice. A hit with locals, definitely a place I would come back the next time I’m in town.

My sister and I ate here for the first time today and were BLOWN AWAY! The food was some of the best Asian food we’ve ever had and the portions were huge. We got all of this food (plus soup) as the Lunch Box Special. Service was great and food came out quick. Highly recommend this place to everyone and we will definitely be coming back! Perfect hidden gem in China Grove

I had never been to Downtown China Grove. Got hungry and decided to try something new. Walked in & asked if they would still serve us as there was only an hour before they closed for break. We sat down & had a Wonderful chat with our server. We ordered & it was probably the best Asian food I have had in a while. The shrimp were fresh & not over cooked. The mangos added just the right amount of sweet to the dish & the portion was ample! I actually can’t wait to go back and try some more options!

I would give 10 stars if possible. This was our first time here and beyond impressed! The menu has so much to choose from so we ordered several different dishes just to try a variety in hopes we would find something that “wowed” us. Well to our surprise, every dish we got did just that! No exaggeration, the food was amazing from the soup, to the orange chicken, red curry and the pho. Its a true hidden gem and the owner Mimi was so nice and took the time to explain the menu, amswered all our questions and just a genuinely nice person. Its a family business; we met Mimis sister who works there with her who is just as nice and took the time to meet us and had conversation so unlike many other businesses you go to now days where you’re just a customer amd a number. It wasnt like that at All here. Mimi explained her parents work in the kitchen making all the food fresh every day even cutting fresh vegetables never using anything frozen, and you can taste the difference. I could go on and on about what a great dining experience it was, but I would highly reccomend you give them a try, you will be glad you did. Its in a quiet location, you dont have to fight traffic on 85 or concord mills, or risk your safety driving to charlotte just for a good meal! This is going to be my new regular spot and I. Already looking forward to taking friends and family to try it also. Last but NOT least, their sanatation grade is a 99!! This is the first thing I look at when going in a restaurant. The place is clean, updated, comfortable, quaint a.d plays great music to add to the ambiance. Just GO! I’ll likely be in at least once a week and intend to befriend the owner and her family since they are just that kind of “real” people. GREAT job Mimi and crew! See you next time. Red Curry was my favorite dish btw!!
