We ordered the following:
1. larb salad – with ground beef. 4/5: The flavor was good, just a tad salty but we have been cutting down on salt so maybe it seem more salty than it really is.
2. Rom Yum soup with chicken: 5/5. The flavor is full of fragrances like lemon grass, galangal, lime leaves and it was perfectly savory and tartness. We only wanted a mild heat of 2 peppers and it wasn’t hot, so next time, we would kick it up a few nodges. The chicken is tender and nicely cooked with the savory soup.
3. Beef pad see ew: 4/5 cuz it was a tad sweeter than what I am used to but it wasn’t salty, so we appreciated it. The flavor is good!!
5. crab fried rice: 5/5. The fried rice wasn’t greasy and the rice is moist and flaky but not dry. Lots of flavors in that and very delicious!
6. Chicken basil leaf rice plate: 5/5, very flavorful and perfectly cooked.
Overall the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. We will have to come here again next time we crave Thai food!
Crab Rangoons were excellent. Fish cakes were solid but only get em if you like them already as they’re not for everyone. The basil fried rice was good as was the duck fried rice. Take your pick. Chicken wings were okay, nothing great but they’ll do. Pork belly was fine and the rad na even better.
There are better places for Thai if you want to pay more or impress someone. But if you want a good meal for a good price then this spot will serve you well.
My main reason for coming here is specifically the Boat Noodle Soup. If you’ve had Pho, Boat Noodle Soup is pretty similar but with a more heartier taste to it that just makes it worth it. A hot warm bowl of noodles and meat is all you need to want to come here.
This was also our first time trying the Roasted Duck Noodle soup and I actually really like that as well. It has a much cleaner flavor but still has depth to it. The duck is pretty good as well and they give you different pieces of the meat so that it can change it up a bit.
Just like any other Thai place, you can always choose your spice level for whatever you feel comfortable. They have a spice tray on the side as well so you can add additional heat/flavor to your dish.
The vibe of the place is pretty chill as I’ve only really been here in the morning. It’s nothing fancy but just enough aesthetic to feel like you’re in a Thai restaurant.
There is something about Asian Culture that exudes the epitome of what servant leadership is about. They just take care of you without any questions. They make you feel that they were born into this world for that reason. Coming from a similar feeling, I can really appreciate the big picture.
Recommendations were amazing. I even customized a few dishes that are indicative of Thai Food with their assistance. Tom Yum soup with Clear Noodles and a Shrimp Red Panang Curry. Topping it off with the classic sticky (deliciously f$@kin amazing) rice with Mango.
Service is on point. Food comes out fast and flavors are different (in a great way) than I’m used to with Thai Food. The weather is nice & chilly and I wanted something to warm me up. I asked for it. I got it. Now I’m heading out, barely spent anything, and have sweat dripping down my forehead. I am someone who loves spice but you don’t have to get anything here spicy. They make sure to ask you up front.
Thank you Thai House Family. Can’t wait to come back!
