Absolutely delicious food, and the staff is always so nice. I would go after an appointment every Monday and I always got some curry or the drunken noodles. All of the curries are delicious and the Drunken Noodles with extra spice are phenomenal! I’m very sad I won’t be able to return any time soon due to circumstances, because this place is very worth the visit!

Located at the bottom of the hillside in New Haven, one would not expected to find delicious Thai food at this place. Pam See Ew is always tasty, coming back again and again for Thai stories.

I am very disappointed in the consistency of the food. I have ordered dozens of times over the years and sometimes it is great and other times it is not even edible. These crab rangoons were a waste of $9.

Take out containers shrank in size several ounces mid-2025….if I am going to spend 17 dollars, I’ll go somewhere else where I can get almost twice the same amount of food. I really did like everything else about Tai Stories food was superior, service friendly, atmosphere in house OK, but I’m a mostly take out person.

The waitress was sharp and not necessarily pleasant. Crab Rangoon is frozen. I know this because I had an ice cube in the middle of 2 of them and sent them back. The dumplings were ok. Had drunken noodles with chicken, average at best. Overall, it’s just not that good.

Atmosphere/Decor: 5/5. Service: 4.5/5. Flavors: 5/5 Menu Variety: 5/5 Prices: 5/5! We had the Thai Sampler, Tom Yam soup (best I’ve ever had), and Shoyu Pork Ramen (also best I’ve ever had – rolled roasted pork sliced thin). Saved as a favorite so we can stop here any time we’re up the coast from Long Island. Also, for something different – the Thai Banana Cake is SOOOOO GOOOOOOD! Think lightly sweet banana sushi!

Seems small of the outside but has plenty of room. Great atmosphere. All the little items/decorations gives it a really warm vibe. Definitely a good date night idea, not to loud so you can actually have a conversation. Very clean tasting food not much grease, sodium, ect. Still a lot of carbs in the noddles but you have to have a cheat day. lmao. Plenty of parking outside.

Ordered take out for the first time as a Woodbridge resident. Very simple pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. They only put in two of the proteins I ordered that shrimp and chicken, no pork but charged me. Rice was a side literally had 5 small pieces of pineapple. The must disappointment cane with the dryness of the pad Thai virtually no sauce, no peanuts, no lime??? It was very disappointing. The only good thing was the did not use plastic containers. They used really nice cardboard containers.

I usually order takeout from this location for lunch. At first, it was great – delicious, affordable, timely. After a while, the service starting to fall.

Multiple times, they have messed up an order by providing something else or simply omitting it. Sometimes, I ask for an extra peanut sauce. They charge me the $2 every time and fail to put it in my bag. They even read the items on the receipt and affirm it’s all good. I don’t notice until I get back to work and at that point, it’s useless to call for a $2 sauce.
And with as slow as calm as it is every time I go, I don’t feel like there should be an excuse for missing or incorrect items.

I also noticed the quality of the food going down. The chicken is either overcooked, or the tom yum soup will be an off color.

At my job, we took a break from order here. After a while, I figured I would give it another go but it’s the same problems.

As much as I love thai food and the proximity it is to my job, I think I’m going to start going further for somewhere else that’s more attentive.
