The portion was good, and although it did take some time to have our meals ready, it’s worth waiting. Also an indication of good online sales or orders by phone calls.

First time trying this place and it was great! Very inconspicuous from the outside but as soon as you step foot inside, it’s a pleasant surprise. Good vibes and relaxing ambiance. The staff was also very friendly and the food hot and delicious. I got the drunken noodles with vegetables and Thai tea. With a 3 spice level out of 5 it was plenty spicy.

I had a wonderful experience at Thai Star Restaurant last lunch. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Thai food in Durham.

This placed used to be one of the cheapest place serving delicious Thai food. But now on my recent visit I realized it full to be running on little expensive side. The food is good here but the ambience is just above average.

Their basil fried rice and Thai fish cakes are the best. Definitely going back for these. Tom yum soup was not that bad. But not so good as well. Didn’t like the clear noodles that much. They can just remove that ginger salad from the menu. That’s trash

Really good! Service was helpful and the food hit just right. We had pad ped pla (sweet basil fish) which was colorful, sweet and spicy…it could have used a few more veggies though, and the fish lost its crispiness a bit in the sauce, but we finished it all because yum!. I was also very happy that the fish was catfish and not tilapia. That made for a more flavorful dish than tilapia ever dreamed. The Thai beef salad was fabulous with just enough heat to enhance the flavors of the beef (cooked medium) and sauce. Very tasty.

The food was delicious, the portions were consistent with the price, and the food was ready for pickup when promised. My order consisted of masaman curry and spring rolls. Both were exactly as expected and had just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend!

Best drunken noodles I’ve had! I came here around 6pm on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty. I placed an order for takeout and my food was ready in 15 mins. Staff was friendly as well. I also got an iced Thai tea and it was delicious. I definitely want to come back and actually sit down to dine.
