Thai Square should be proud of the hard work and dedication that they have presented to the world in terms of making real authentic Thai food that tastes like nothing else we had ever had before! If you are looking for a five star Thai meal, this is the place to go lovelies, as you will not be disappointed!

This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—spicy, savory, and a little sweet just like authentic Thai cuisine should be. The Pad Thai was rich and comforting, and the green curry had just the right kick. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and the staff was warm and attentive. Definitely coming back again!

hello im josh hi
A great Thai place in the heart of St Albans.

A mixed started for two consisting of Vegetable Spring Rolls, Crispy Butterfly Prawns, Corn Cakes, Satay Chicken Skewers and Dumplings served with a peanut sauce and sweet chilli.

Mains were Weeping Tiger Steak and Egg Fried Rice as well as Beef Thai Green Curry ans Sticky Rice.

All the food was delicious and the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Highly recommend this place to anyone who fancies a Thai.

I’ve been to Thai Square twice at the request of my life partner whom has frequented this establishment more times than I.

Both times I’ve visited I’ve had the Weeping Tiger which is so succulent and tender with each mouthful a joy.

My life partner ( a vegetarian) loves the fact she has so many choices which is not commonly found in a lot of restaurants.

The staff are friendly , the restaurant welcoming and cosy.

My only criticism would be that I do find it slightly over priced but if you want good food , good service and great experiences then you get what you pay for.

Thanks Thai Square and we hope to see you soon

I had the Khao Soi, it was tasty but personally for me the portion was small. But otherwise efficient service and nice vibe.

Beautiful restaurant with lovely things to look at. Especially loved the display of bells.

Place is big so you won’t be cramped. Comfortable tables and seats.

Service is quick and good – friendly, tactful weighting staff.

Food is delicious and authentic. Menu has enough choice without being too overwhelming. Portions of good sizes to allow you to comfortably have a starter and main. Or share few dishes.

I had the chicken dumplings which were fantastic and stir fry prawns with bail also lovely – light, authentic flavours. Sticky rice was very good also.

Walked into the restaurant, was very impressed with the building and ambience of the restaurant. The food was excellent and delicious. The value of money was good. However, it was spoilt by the service and attitude of the MANAGER. To the extent that the waiter has to apologise for his behalf.
Recommend to go as long as the manager is off.

Went for Valentines night dinner, it didn’t start well, we were seated in a row of tables upstairs that felt like a classroom, no privacy from both neighbours whatsoever, waited 20 mins for a waitress to come to the table to take our wine order, the table next to us were complaining about the food wait, when our food came it was actually superb – really couldn’t fault it. The evening was spoilt by the early poor service and unnecessarily tight seating arrangements so we probably won’t be returning anytime soon. In my opinion the management would do better to lose some tables and be fully booked rather than try to squeeze in as many as possible. I also didn’t like the 12.5% service charge – clearly not warranted on this occasion.
