Simply put the food here is excellent at Thai Square! Every dish we tried had real depth of flavor without being heavy or overly sweet or salty. One of our favorites was the crispy honey roasted duck with basil… wow! Perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. The sauce had just the right kick, with the option to make it less or more spicy. Also worth mentioning was the chicken satay… so delicious! I find, all too often, when ordering chicken satay that it’s bland or dried out… Not at Thai Square! It was spot on! Also delicious (and tender) was the grilled flank steak appetizer! I was worried it would be tough, but it wasn’t at all! The Thai Ice Tea was also really well balanced — you can actually taste the tea, not just sugar and cream.
Overall, this place delivers quality, flavor, and care in every plate. And the service was great too! Definitely worth a visit!

Definitely my go-to restaurant when I’m in the area. The crispy basil squid, floating market noodle soup, and pad Thai are all dishes of an incredible quality that I strongly recommend.

Wow wow wow… do yourself a favor if you’re into flavor… and hustle on over for classic Thai dishes bursting with perfectly balanced flavor at a reasonable price. I love spice, so it was awesome, but the spice level is baseline pretty high, be warned if you’re an American with a dull palette.

I put this spot “squarely” in the top 2-3 Thai places I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Easily best in the area!

Wow. This place was so good. Fried duck and Pad Thai were perfect. Fried rice was decent. Definitely would go again – staff was super nice too.

Chances upon this place when traveling to DC on work. Was super hungry and this place came up as a recco near where I was staying. Small hole in the wall that roles out the best Thai I’ve eaten in a long time. Flavors are intact and so are the use of sauces. Cooked to perfection and served with a small…this place is amazing

Went here for lunch and had their lunch special! The spring roll was really good, I’ve never had thin glad noodles in a spring g roll and it was a pleasant surprise. The vegetable soup was delicious and soothing. I did the Pad Thai Jae and it was filling without bloating me! Will definitely be back!

One of the best Thai food in the area. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.
Parking is on the street and payment required, It can be tough. Bathroom is tiny and definitely isn’t handicapped accessible.

But over all we love the food here.

My family has been coming to Thai Square for years, and it has truly become our go-to spot whenever we’re craving Thai food. There were times when we came almost every weekend, and the food has always been consistently delicious. The flavors are authentic, bold, and comforting.
The space is a bit on the smaller side, so it can feel a little cramped when they’re busy, but it’s honestly a small trade-off for such great food. What really makes the experience special is the staff, they’re always welcoming, friendly, and make us feel like regulars every time we visit.
Overall, Thai Square holds a special place for our family, and we will definitely continue coming back for many more years. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with amazing flavors and a warm, friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Undoubtedly, this is the best Thai restaurant in the DMV. They consistently serve the most authentic Thai dishes with exceptional taste and flavors. I have no complaints and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Food: Endless menu items and delicious. They offer familiar Thai dishes like Pad Thai and papaya salad and unfamiliar Thai dishes that other places don’t have. What I like most about their food is that they use authentic spices and recipes that are close to the original taste.

Ambiance: Cozy and warm. The place is decorated with nostalgic Thai elements from childhood snacks, etc.

Service: Top-notch professional waitresses that go above and beyond.
