The food was delicious. Had the spicy basil noodles, medium spice, and it had a unique taste. The place was pretty empty, so service wasn’t an issue. Prices were reasonable. Maybe would have liked a bit more food on my plate though.

I gave Thai Spice 2 stars for my review. I would love to give them a higher rating, because the food was excellent. My only difficulty with Thai Spice was that the service was very lacking.
To get the bad stuff out of the way:
The server for the entire restaurant was one young man. The server was rather inattentive to not only me, but to all the patrons in the restaurant (about 10 people). The only time he came to my table was the get my order, and bring my food. I was disappointed that he never came to ask me if I’d like more to drink, or even to bring the rest of my order. While I was there, I had a sushi roll, a vegetable/shrimp “fresh roll”, and some soup. I never received the sushi at my table, even though I was at the restaurant for over 1 hour.
And now for the good stuff:
The food I did receive was excellent. In my opinion, Thai Spice would be a 4+ star restaurant if they could get the service up to par. If you have time for a lengthy dinner, Thai Spice will provide you great food. But, it will be very slow in coming.

This place has great food. Don’t go on a busy lunch break though…. No matter when you go, crowded or empty, the service is always super slow. You have to ask for refills, boxes, or checks several times before you get them. But it’s clean and the food is so good that I deal with the annoyance of the slow service, over and over again. Definitely worth it, just make sure you’re not in a hurry!

The food, as always, was amazing; however, I couldn’t get sushi because the sushi chef wasn’t there. The service could have been better, as there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. The place seriously needs to do something about the ambiance, as well. LOUD country music isn’t really fitting in this setting.

Horrible! Waited an hour for 2 lunch specials. Both orders were wrong. Spicy shrimp fried rice was bland and sticky and zero shrimp. Only 4 customers in the restaurant @ 1145am and we received our food @ 1237pm. Will not waste our time or money here again! Plus, nasty dirty fish tanks and smelly turtle tank. Not pleasant to smell or look at … first time visit and last time visit.

The seafood tastes like rubber. When you tell the staff the curry is too hot and you requested mild, they make it even hotter for revenge! If you get an order to go, you get a teaspoon of vegetable and a little scoop of rice. If you call and ask for the manager, they leave you on hold for 5 minutes. Their seafood buckets have very little seafood in it. The blue crab was mushy and had no meat anywhere to eat. I showed the staff the mushy texture and nothing was done. A quality restaurant makes things right. Run away! Before you waste your money!

Food fantastic, service great friendly and fast. Clean , just disregard the fish tanks. We will return. Our to go Thai restaurant in Anderson. Bigger and Better than restaurant by the hospital, and they don’t close at 3pm.

This was a mixed bag. The sushi was lackluster (Publix has better sushi if that helps clarify) and over priced for a few pieces. The dumplings are out of this world – one of the best things I’ve eaten in ages. Pricey at $1 each but still.
I was the only customer and they make it to order, even so it seemed slow.
Overall not very satisfying for the price, but an occasional splurge on dumplings may be in order.
