Overall really good food and great service. We had the red curry and the pad Thai. Both were delicious and a nice portion. Restaurant has a great little patio and the service was top notch. If you like spicy however food wasn’t spicy at all and we did “hot” level. Only reason for the 4 stars is the prices. $29 for pad Thai is a bit much but to be fair it’s a ritzy part of town so I’m sure their rent is insanely high!

We ordered through Uber Eats. Food was warm so temperature not a problem. We both order Pad Thai and have ordered that many time when traveling and when home. Reviews were good so we were excited to try this. Definitely the worst we have ever had. No flavor and very dry… like something was left out. Shrimp rubbery and chicken dry. So disappointed… and counting Uber, total bill was $85. We took a few bites and threw the rest away. Shame on these folks for sending out food like this.

My son requested Thai Smile for his birthday dinner. We normally go to Kobes, but he wanted dumplings. The food was outstanding. Huge portions, fresh vegtables. My yellow curry was so flavorful. We fought over our left overs today. Thank you again for a magical dinner.

Stopped in for lunch on our way to the airport. The restaurant is comfortable and quiet, and the staff was quick and efficient. We ordered from the lunch menu and found both the soup and entree to be delicious – well seasoned, fresh cuts of vegetables and good sized portions for a reasonable price. We would definitely eat here again.

Super expensive for Thai. The pad Thai only had 3 shrimp. The two delights would have been a much better choice with at least 6 shrimp as well as chicken and lots of yummy veggies. My husband loved the masaman curry but didn’t get enough rice. Service was friendly but entrees a little slow to come out.

We absolutely loved our entire experience at Thai Smile! The food was the Very BEST we had in Palm Desert! Our server Pablo was excellent too! We absolutely loved their papaya salad, the Phad Thai and fresh vegetables in a most delicious brown sauce and their coconut ice cream was simply heavenly! We will be back every time we are in Palm Desert❣️

Go “Thai Spicy” it so gooooood! And very spicy. Thai Smile has been around for a long time (like decades) in the desert. More recently it came to El Paseo, and they continue the great taste/flavor tradition that started decades ago.
Highly recommend the Kung Pow Shrimp. You can get any protein you like for this traditional Szechuan dish. Also love the eggplant, the cashew chicken, and spicy shrimp fried rice. Their lemon grass traditional Thai soups are awesome too!
Off season, call in early for take out. Sometimes it is dead, and the close the kitchen early. The have a great indoor and outdoor seating. Some parking curb side out front, and a large lot in the rear. Also very cool, they have reserved a pick up/short term parking right out front. It makes take out pick ups very easy.

It was about $94 bucks. And two people could barely finish after an active day hiking, swimming, and tennis.

The location was incredibly convenient, with ample parking, making it a breeze to get to and from the restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff’s attentiveness and kindness throughout our meal were truly exceptional. Their service exceeded even the standards of a five-star hotel.
The culinary experience was equally impressive. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including the chicken satays, shrimp blankets, pad thai, som tam salad, panang curry, and house fried rice. Each dish was perfectly balanced and flavorful. Our kids enjoyed every bite, and we couldn’t have been happier with our dining experience.
We will definitely be returning whenever we’re in Palm Springs again.
