The staff are very kind, friendly, and always willing to serve with a smile. Customer service is really good. The food taste is okay, though it doesn’t feel fully authentic like original Thai flavors. The appetizers tasted more like frozen items, but the main dishes were definitely better and more enjoyable overall.

Love love love it here! I usually get the pad see ew but have switched it up the past couple times, and I have definitely not been disappointed. LOVED the yellow curry noodles. They always give a good portion of tofu and veggies to noodle ratio!

The restaurant was completely empty when I arrived, which made me wonder if I’d made the right choice, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered ice water, Pad See Ew with chicken, and spring rolls. The food came out very quickly—almost too quickly, as I wish they’d spaced out the appetizer and entrée a bit more. Still, the food was hot and fresh.
The Pad See Ew had a nice smoky flavor with no hint of sweetness, which I actually prefer. Everything was fully enjoyable and definitely edible. By the time I was midway through my meal, about five other diners had arrived. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place.

From the moment we entered Thai Smile, despite arriving only a half hour before their closing time, our experience was nothing short of excellent. Our server, Amy, graciously welcomed us with a warm smile and professionalism that punctuated the superior service we received during our stay.
The star of the evening, without a doubt, was the deeply satisfying Thai soup. I had duck and my husband had beef. This culinary delight, a rich blend of boldly aromatic Thai flavors and succulent duck meat, was impressively delicious. Each spoonful was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to presenting authentic Thai cuisine. It filled the mouth with a symphony of sweet, sour, and spicy notes, all echoing the undeniable essence of traditional Thai food.
Amy’s service was prompt and courteous, always attentive despite the impending closing time. She made us feel comfortable, treating us not like mere customers, but guests in her own home.
In conclusion, our dining experience at Thai Smile was memorialized by superb service and delightful gastronomic offerings. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking to explore the exotic textures of Thai cuisine in Chattanooga, TN. Glad we visited, and we’re already looking forward to our next dinner there!

Came here 12 years ago and had the best Thai in the south, which was a surprise coming from the west and having been to Thailand. It’s just as good 12 years later, would highly recommend, just be extremely careful with the spice level you choose.

I love Thai food and usually get drunken noodles (pad kee mao), and theirs is some of the best I’ve had. My wife has the pad Thai and she thought it was fabulous. We were there during the busy lunch hour and still got our food within 10 minutes. Prices were very reasonable, and our lunch serving was plenty of food. Our server was very nice, and the restaurant looked to be very clean. Recommended!

I will be super honest in this review. I am spoiled by authentic thai taste in Siam Thai Bloomington IN. I ordered Tom kha and fried rice. I ordered a 6 in spice. This place has mostly American clientele and with this clientele and in downtown Chattanooga, I have to say this place holds good flavor, good service. Seemed like a family run place and the food prices are also very reasonable.

Drunken Noodles were absolutely delicious! Green curry was mediocre. Teriyaki chicken was very good.

This place is never full, and I’m thankful for that, but it should be because they serve such AMAZING food and the service is so kind. I love the chicken and pork pad Thai, which cost $16. It was spectacular. And the curry meals are as well. I recommend a spice level of 4, but if you get a lower level, they give you chili on the table to add more if needed!

This felt like a tourist trap. This is the laziest dish I have ever been served. “Tangerine chicken” and it’s great value Walmart mandarin oranges someone threw on some chicken strips. The only good thing was the sauce. I thought this was a joke. I also couldn’t substitute it when I asked. They made me pay for something my 8 year old niece might come up with. Please save your money and go somewhere where it’s not a scam. It was a good laugh for me and my friends though afterwards lol.
