Great Thai place that we’ve return to time and time again. They are very reasonable, and make most dishes with tofu if asked. Really great flavors and REAL spicy when you ask for it. That in house chili oil is FIRE!!

Really nice staff. Cash only FYI!

Cash only; smaller quantity. Super prompt serving speed. I ordered the coconut soup with rice, recommended by the server, the ingredients are very fresh and healthy (peppers, eggplants & small shrimps). A little spicy or the seasoning added afterwards taste that requires to drink a lot of water. Very clean restaurant. Friendly service.

Pad See Ew with beef:
I honestly couldn’t eat it. The noodles and vegetables were extremely mushy — I couldn’t even use chopsticks or a spoon to bring them to my mouth. The beef was very tough, and the dish had almost no seasoning at all.

Chicken Pad Thai:
The seasoning was very bland and it didn’t taste like Pad Thai. It felt more like a simple stir-fried noodle dish.

Thai salad:
I specifically mentioned that I am allergic to peanuts and asked to have the peanuts on the side. But they did NOT do that. They mixed the peanuts directly into the salad, so I couldn’t eat it at all. The meal ended up being such a waste.

I am extremely disappointed. The quality was not guaranteed. I’m sure you will find better satisfaction eating at Thai Express.

Great Thai restaurant with very affordable dishes! Absolutely loved the Tom Kha coconut soup, and would come back just for that! The pad kee mao and red curry were super flavourful as well!

Guys, I don’t understand the reviews and rating of this restaurant. We were super excited to try this “hidden gem” to unfortunately receive a ketchup pad Thai. Quite basic tom yum soup and their sausage was quite tasteless. Also tried their Laotian Nem fried rice – decent but lacked flavor that I put the papaya salad dressing on it to get some kick. Although the price point was fair, but I definitely wouldn’t rate this a solid Thai spot. But service was very friendly.

My favorite dishes:
Thai sep noodles
Sausages with sticky rice
Nem Khao
Lao’s beef salad

It’s a small restaurant that doesn’t take reservations. Service is good but serving is a bit slow. They only accept cash. Some other dishes may be on the sweeter to too sweet to my taste but the dishes I mentioned above are really good. I’ve been twice already and planning to go back.

Pros:
Delicious Laotian and Thai food – my favorites were the Nem Kao, the mango and papaya salads and the soup in my photos. The two desserts were yummy also.
It’s a bring your own wine.
Very good and accommodating service.
Very reasonable prices.

Cons:
Only accepts cash, no credit, no debit.
The place is small so it’s hard to do big groups.
They don’t take reservations.

My friend recommended this place because she knew I liked Laotian and Thai food. The food was delicious and being a BYOB is always a plus. Unfortunately, they only take cash and there is no ATM in the restaurant, but I’ll definitely come back again because the food was great.

The food here is fresh tasting, fairly priced and unique. The service is also kind and attentive.Sim tam (spicy salad) , Namtok (grilled beef) and green curry were my favorite, it’s really taste authentic, same as I ate in Thailand 2 years ago.see pictures below

THE best Thai restaurant in Montreal. A hidden gem just in the outskirts of Villeray/border St-Michel.

We absolutely ADORED everything we ordered. We were 2 and got the following:
– Papaya Salad (Laos Style)
– Papaya Salad (Thai Style)
– Nem Khao
– Pad Thai
– Large Tom Yum Soup
– Mango sticky rice

They get a bonus point for having papaya salad with padaek sauce (Laos style papaya salad) – personally, that’s the true marker of an AUTHENTIC Thai restaurant.

The mango sticky rice is a must have for dessert and the place is also a BYOB.

Every single bite transported me back to Thailand and I can’t wait to be back soon!
