I have never had a bad experience. The chefs are consistent, and are accommodating to special requests.
The low lit dining area is quite nice for dine in. You will also have a great experience with take out.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
I didn’t think anything of it when I found the google listing to place an online order and saw reviews about the diminished food quality. I thought it was just irrelevant since I have ordered from there for so long.
Well, I was wrong.
Tonight I placed an online order for Four Seasons with extra chicken and Red curry with extra chicken. I think something important to note for the review is that for online ordering my curry came with a free choice of chicken, but I ordered extra for the add on price, but the Four Seasons actually charges you an extra $1 for the chicken just as a regular option, and then an extra $3 for the add on. We selected both so it was clear there should be more chicken.
When we opened the food bag we immediately saw that one of the rice containers was MIA from the bag. The second thing we noticed was the size difference in the To Go containers. My curry was huge, and the portion of chicken for the four seasons wasn’t even half the portion size. The sauce was also an actual soupy broth, not the creamier peanut sauce we had known for years.
My significant other brought the meal to the restaurant, and the waitress was very nice about the situation, she understood and he could actually hear her mention it isn’t supposed to be a soup to the chefs in the back.
When the meal came back, the soupy broth was then a sauce, but it was a very scant amount. The other main thing that he noted and asked again about was the amount of chicken. The meal was returned such a small portion it looked like it was a lunch special, and the portion difference of chicken compared to the curry made -no sense-. The waitress said that the chicken amount is correct for ordering the amount we paid for, and apologized again and mentioned there was a new chef. We left kind of disappointed, my boyfriend remarked how he is probably just going to not order this meal again.
I understand if you have new people on and that people need to train, however, the wild portion differences, severely lowered food quality, and the fact that this is a regular thing now (we were told many were returning food or calling to complain, someone else also showed up mad while we were there) makes me wonder why they put an inexperienced chef on for a dinner shift, or at least have some quality control before it leaves the restaurant. I do not think that the four seasons we ordered fit the $15+ total I paid for.
My one regret is while I didn’t bring the curry back I realized after resolving the other meal that I should have done that as well because the broth was gritty from the spices which it never normally is either. I will probably avoid this location for a while now.
