Ordered takeout from Thai Sa-On Thai Restaurant and it was amazing as always. Super flavourful, consistent, and never a letdown. Portions are slightly smaller than other spots, but the quality is top tier. A must try for anyone who loves Thai food!

My wife and I Had a great experience at Thai Sa On in Calgary. The food was absolutely delicious, flavourful and really comforting. The service was excellent, and everything came out well prepared.
Special thanks to “Klare”, our server. She was very professional, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. Her warm service and pleasant character made the whole dining experience even better.
Definitely a place we would love to visit again and would happily and confidently recommend to the others. Would have loved to listen to the Thai music in the background.

I love Thai food and have been to Thailand, so I’m familiar with authentic dishes. This restaurant didn’t quite match that experience. The pad thai was missing the usual bean sprouts and instead had cabbage and carrots, which aren’t typical for this dish. The green curry chicken also didn’t include the usual eggplant and instead had broccoli and cucumber, which is not standard. Portions were quite small, especially the mango sticky rice. Expensive too. Service was good though.

We are the Bangkok curry, Chu Chi Basa, coconut rice and a side of Thai noodles. The flavours of the main dishes were very will rounded and the level of spice was perfect for spice lovers and non spice lovers alike. The rice was will cooked and slightly creamy, lending a nice texture. The noodles were great with the sauce of each dish, though on their own I’m not sure I would eat them, though they had a nice taste on their own

The food was okay. When we ordered dessert, they didn’t have any bananas. Also, the receipt had an incorrect item price. They explained it was because the new menu hadn’t arrived yet, but they were charging the new prices—even though we were looking at the old menu!

Thai Sa-On was an incredible treat! Authentic Thai food in the heart of downtown Calgary. The coconut rice was sticky and had tons of flavour. The Tom Yum soup was sweet & sour and had some tasty veggies inside. My favorite thing I ate had to be the drunken noodles, they were soft and had a tasty chili flavour, and the chicken was cooked amazingly. The green curry was also a hit. This restaurant is priced very fairly, so you can try lots of things. I can’t wait to come back!

Recently dined at this Thai restaurant and was impressed by the delicious food and the beautifully decorated ambiance. The flavors were fantastic, and the restaurant’s interior added to the overall dining experience.

However, I must mention that parking was a bit challenging, which may be inconvenient for some visitors. Despite this, if you’re a fan of excellent Thai cuisine and a well-designed atmosphere, this place is worth a visit. Just be prepared for a potential parking hassle.
