I don’t know what happened but I used to always order Pad Thai from this location. It used to be so good. Now this pad thai has a weird smell as soon as I opened my order and it’s really making me question how fresh the ingredients were. It smelled very unappetizing. Please note I am Asian and I am used to the fermented smells of shrimp paste or fish sauce and this smell is not it. Quality and taste have significantly gone down compared to how it was before. Unfortunately I availed a BOGO offer on ubereats and now I have 2 pad thais that I will not be eating.

Truly a must come for comfy and beautifully plated food. I always get the mango chicken with jasmine rice and it’s always delicious!! If you’re looking to complete your meal with dessert I’d recommend the mango coconut sticky rice it never misses.

This place truly exceeded my expectations. I tried Thai iced tea for the very first time — and wow, I’m obsessed now! It was rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and super refreshing with that touch of lime.
We ordered mango salad, curry with shrimp and veggies, glass noodles with chicken, and jasmine rice — and every single dish was bursting with flavor. The mango salad was a total standout — fresh, tangy, a little spicy, and incredibly delicious. I’ve never had anything like it before and I was blown away.
The curry was perfectly balanced and comforting, the noodles were packed with veggies and protein, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. Portions were huge — the salad and noodles can easily be shared between two people!
Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out hot and beautifully presented.
Overall, this was such a warm, satisfying, and flavorful experience — definitely coming back!

WORST Pad Thai I’ve had in my life. I rarely post critical reviews but this can’t go unnoticed. I frequent many Thai restaurants and this is first time I have a foul after taste smell in my chicken pad Thai. No symptoms yet but I’m fairly confident that not a lot quality controls have gone in my order. Really disappointed as Thai Room has been a household favourite.

We started with the Thai Spring Roll, which delighted with its crisp, golden pastry encasing tender glass noodles and fresh vegetables, complemented perfectly by the tangy and slightly sweet Thai plum sauce. The Tofu Satay Skewers were grilled nicely with a smoky char and served with a creamy, rich peanut sauce that elevated the dish.
The Green Curry was a standout — creamy, fragrant, and balanced, it combined silky tofu with vibrant vegetables in a mildly spicy coconut curry base that warmed the palate without overwhelming. The Famous Pad Thai featured fresh, crunchy vegetables and a delicate tamarind sauce, delivering a satisfying and well-rounded flavour profile true to the dish’s roots.

Tried the beef drunken noodles at Thai Room Scarborough and was genuinely impressed! The dish was packed with bold, rich flavours — just the right amount of spice, heat, and that signature Thai basil aroma. The beef was tender and well-marinated, and the noodles had a perfect chewy texture. Portion size was generous too. Definitely one of the better Thai spots in the area. Will be back to try more from their menu!

Beware of this place. They like to rip you off. Ordered the green curry on uber and they make you pay an extra 5 dollars for chicken. When we got our food we were disappointed to find out our dish was mostly cheap vegetables and lacked chicken except for a few tiny pieces. Same thing with the pad Thai. It barely contained noodles and was just filled with cheap vegetables. I was disappointed and expected better. Will definitely not be a returning customer. Spend your money elsewhere where they don’t rip you off. If you were thinking of trying this new place, steer clear.

Food is good, service is fantastic. The only things are the food taking an eternity to arrive but the location was not busy at all. And, on their menu, the fried rice did not indicate spiciness- only say comes with red peppers which we all know could not be spicy, or if anything, just a tad bit spicy, but our fried rice was burning hot. So kinda confused in that part. Almost everything has spiciness on them though the menu does not say anything about it.
