Reviews
Starters were freshly fried and served hot. Main dishes included Pad Thai, Thai curry and tom yum soup, with a choice of steamed or fried rice.
The papaya salad was very authentic (quite spicy). Prawns were large and fresh. Desserts included cake, fruit and ice cream, and we were pleasantly surprised with mango sticky rice.
Friendly and welcoming owners. Highly recommended. Please call ahead for the buffet.
Clean and inviting environment, extremely friendly and courteous owners. Fantastic food from beggining to end. The small starter platter had plenty of options including two types of squid, two types of chicken, vegetable and duck spring rolls, King Prawns and breaded crab claws all of which impressed. Our mains were Moo Wan, Green Thai curry, Sweet & Sour Beef with stir fry, stir fry chicken with cashew nuts with egg fried rice and vegatbles. All the dishes were full of fresh, flavoursome ingredients, it was a genuine suprise to eat food this good in the centre of Rotherham. We’ll be using this restaurant again for definite.
We happened to find this by accident on Google Maps and went along on Monday night to see what it’s like.
It’s an authentic cafe-style Thai restaurant, a really chilled and friendly atmosphere, like you’re eating in your own home. The menus are extensive and feature everything you’d expect to find in Thailand. So much to choose from it’s easy to get carried away.
For starters we shared Thai fish cakes, lime chicken strips and satay chicken. All were outstanding. I had the Jungle Curry with sticky rice, red hot and tasty. The papaya salad was also outstanding, as were the meals my family had too.
We met the owner, Rich, who had a chat with us, telling us about how his wife became such a good chef. Her cooking was genuinely the best Thai food we’ve found in England.
Overall we had a lovely time and will definitely be back again, perhaps to try the buffet next time.
The hospitality really stood out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind without being overbearing. They made sure everything was just right and were happy to answer questions and offer suggestions, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Now the food — absolutely incredible. I ordered a curry, and this is coming from someone who normally does not like curry at all. Somehow, this was hands down the best curry I’ve ever had in my life. The flavors were perfectly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was comforting and full of flavor, and it completely changed my opinion on curry.
Overall, between the outstanding food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the warm hospitality, this place truly exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others — even to people who think they don’t like curry!
Delicious food, good service and nice atmosphere. We highly recommend this place.
