Stopped by this Thai spot in West Vancouver for lunch and tried a couple dishes from their lunch menu, which is very reasonably priced at $14 per dish. It’s definitely a good option if you’re looking for something quick and affordable in the area.
The food itself was pretty average—nothing particularly memorable, but it did the job for a casual lunch. Flavours were decent, portions were fair for the price, and everything came out fairly quickly.
Overall, it’s a solid budget-friendly lunch option if you’re in the neighbourhood and craving Thai, but not necessarily a place I’d go out of my way for.

The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. If you don’t want spicy food, you can let them know. I highly recommend the grilled fish with rice vermicelli (mieng pla yang), chicken satay, grilled pork neck salad (nam tok), and roti for dessert. The flavors are really good.

The taste is very authentic Thai. If you’re Thai and miss som tam with pla ra, the flavor is exactly right, rich and full of flavor.

The food here is really delicious! I especially loved the grilled fish so flavorful with the dripping sauce and perfectly cooked. The chicken satay was incredible!! The roti dessert was amazing, and the Thai lemon tea was super refreshing (perfect combination with spicy thai food for me) but I love sour flavors, so I asked for extra lemon, and they were happy to accommodate.

The staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions or requests. Great food and great service — definitely coming back!

Stopped by this restaurant on my way to West Vancouver and got lucky—they had a newly added daily special: Khao Soi Gai. I learned it’s a famous Northern Thai chicken curry noodle dish, and wow… it did not disappoint.

The chicken was super juicy, and the noodles soaked up the thick, flavourful curry perfectly.

Feels like this place is a hidden gem. Definitely coming back for more dishes!! Highly recommend!

This is a long time Thai favorite in West Vancouver. It’s good but nothing dramatic. It strikes me as tasty home style cooking. Very good chicken satay. Tom Kha soup was very good, but would have preferred more eggplant than sliced onions. The Phad Thai had “wok hei” flavor. I should have asked for a mid spicy for the green curry.

Let’s try Khao Soi Kai! The flavors are incredibly rich and well-balanced. Packed with fresh herbs, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious. I love the variety of textures—soft noodles, crispy noodles and pickles, and tender chicken all in one bowl. So satisfying and comforting. Highly recommend!

Authentic food and atmosphere, really humble and kind owners. Easily the best Thai restaurant I’ve tried in Vancouver, especially now that they have Khao Soi on their menu. They also have really great beef Masaman curry.

Great Thai food! Excellent service, this restaurant is family owned and run. They provide excellent recommendations, offer great portion sizes and lots of variety. Top tier customer service, the owner is very kind and will discuss the menu and chat when it’s slow. Every time I’m in Vancouver I make sure to visit and eat here – 10/10!

I love the flavour of the dishes it captures what an authentic Thailand dish is. We also tried their new dish called Khao Soi Kai and it was really good, the combination of the curry and the lime was great and having a mixed texture of noodles was also good, both crunchy and regular noodles. I would come back again for their Khao Soi Kai and try their other dishes.

Thai Pudpong is a true hidden gem in West Vancouver. The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with so much care—it feels like a little taste of Thailand right here at home.

The papaya salad (som tum) is my favorite—fresh, tangy, and perfectly balanced. The stuffed chicken wings are another standout: crispy outside, savory filling inside, and so addictive. Everything else I’ve tried, from the curries to the noodles, has been consistently delicious.

The staff here are also incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.

One special thing I love about Thai Pudpong is their authentic Thai menu that they release from time to time. You’ll have to wait for the notice, but it’s worth it—you get to try traditional dishes you won’t usually find anywhere else in Vancouver.

If you’re craving real Thai food in West Van, this cozy little spot is absolutely worth discovering.
