I would have given it a better rating if they had a menu that doesn’t trick the customers. We liked it so much the first time we went last yeat that we returned to it last week and they increased prices by 20-25% and decreased the portion size by 30% or more. Meaning they are about the double the price they were last year. The food tastes good, but not great specially nothing that you won’t get in another Thai place. But they score a 1 star in service or I should say customer experience. The menu is so tricky to read, the prices for items are in a different page and it says “Add $2” hiding in plain sight, so when ordered what could be thought as a $15.95 dish is actually a $18 dish and you can find the exact same thing in other Thai restaurants for $14 or less. I took pictures of the menu for the same reason and posting it here. I would go here again if there isn’t any other food option close by!

The Basil Chicken was good. The sauce was flavorful. I ordered a level 3 spicy, which was quite mild with hardly any heat at all. They have some good lunch specials from 11-3 during the week except for Tuesdays as they are closed that day.

Some of the best Thai food with delicious vegan options!!!

Thai Pepper isn’t technically a vegan restaurant, but they’ve got some really solid vegan options rare enough that I get excited when I find it.

The star for me used to be their vegan wings. They were spicy, loaded with peppers, sautéed perfectly… just so good. Last time we went, they didn’t have them, so definitely ask ahead if they’re available because they’re worth the trip if they are.

The Penang curry can be made vegan, and it’s amazing. It’s delicate but full of flavor, with green beans and tofu. It’s one of those dishes you take a bite of and just sit there like, “Yep, this is why I came.” The veggie fried rice (ask for no egg) looks pretty simple, but don’t let that fool you it’s really flavorful. The veggie spring rolls were fresh and crispy, and the peanut sauce on the side was delicious. We also tried the dumplings, which were great too. Basically, we’ve gone through every vegan-friendly thing they had on the menu at the time, and none of it disappointed.

The restaurant is small, but the staff is friendly and the service has always been good. We’ve done both takeout and dine-in. They have a high chair, but no changing table. There’s no kids’ vegan menu, so our kids just had the fried rice, which worked fine. They’ve got decent parking, and the serving sizes are generous definitely a plus.

Price-wise, you’re looking at around $15 $20 a plate, but it’s worth every bite. If you like spice and Thai food, I’d say go for the tofu Penang curry (just make sure to ask for it vegan). From what I understand, they make it to order, and you can taste the difference.

They don’t have a dedicated vegan menu, but there are good vegan options if you know what to ask for. That’s why I’m sharing this because it can be a pain to find good vegan Thai food unless you’ve already tried the place and asked. This one’s worth checking out. Try a few things, find your favorite, and you’ll probably love the rest too. Service is phenomenal very accommodating to our family with the kiddos.

Very good atmosphere and attentive server. Good food full of flavor. You can add the spice level you prefer, for me that is no spice, and the food was delicious. Give them a visit.

It was my first time eating at this restaurant and everything we ordered was super delicious, Fried Dunplings, Tom Yum Soup, and Ginger Chicken. They serve plenty of food with your orders so we had to take dessert to go.
The gentleman that waited on us was very friendly and offered us different suggestions during our visit.
If you are looking for great tasting Thai Food in Gilbert? This is the place, I will definitely keep coming back..
According to the waiter, we should come back during lunch hours so we can try their lunch specials, which from their menu these look like great offers.

We ordered Basil Shrimp and Panang Chicken. It was actually good. Satisfied with the service. The place is not as big but we love the quiet and intimate ambience. There’s plenty of parking spots. Lunch special comes with basil soup, rice and egg roll, which I love! The dipping sauce that comes with it is the bomb!

My first time visiting and went for the Thai Fried rice but was told the Thai Pepper Fried Rice was better because it’s not traditional. Now I’m all for a little something different and special, but NO. If you want Thai Fried Rice do NOT I repeat do NOT get the Thai Pepper Fried because it’s just onions, bell peppers, rice and chicken. I’m so disappointed because I really wanted some good Thai food and didn’t want to drive to Ahwatukee to my usual spot. My fault. But the crab puffs were delicious.
