3 stars all the way. I last visited 9 years ago with great memories. I revisited today and was sad to find out that they have changed owner twice. I ordered my favorite Thai dish- yellow curry. It was good. Portion was much smaller than I remembered. My nephews ordered pad see ew with shrimp and Thai fried rice with BBQ pork. Both tasted more like a Chinese dish than a Thai dish. I didn’t taste any Thai spice in it. I could tell you that they put abundance of soy sauce in each dish. The waitress spent most of her time tending to the customers who ordered takeout or came to pick up takeout. It’s just not the same as before. I used to look forward to come to eat authentic Thai food. Not anymore. They should just rename this as Vietnamese/Chinese Pepper cuisine.

WOW! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The service is so friendly, the food is prompt and yummy. Do yourself a favor and order the coconut shrimp. They were so good that we forgot to take a picture. I am also really grateful from the recommendation from our server to get the Tom Yum seafood soup, that was amazing. As with any other Thai place spot, be careful on the spicy levels as it does run spicy.

Had company lunch with 5 of us. Lunch specials were reasonably priced, low bill amount surprised us a bit. With tofu as a protein, so many vegetarian options. Cream cheese wontons were hearty and delicious. Tom Kha (coconut soup) was tasty, we shared a big bowl (they brought us smaller bowls – excellent service!) . Yellow curry (mild) was spicy enough for me. Flavor-wise it was OK. Sweet rice mango dessert was a good finisher.

Food here is so good, easily one of my favorite local Thai places in SD. On top of that, Jane & Mike are amazing hosts. Highly recommend trying the Tom Yum soup, as well as the Drunken Fish!

Typical no fuss Thai place. Good food good price. Got the a lunch special, chicken pad Thai. A 5/10 spice level is pretty for me. I would lean toward to lower spice level here.
