I read the reviews and it’s a love or hate proposition. For me, the food hit the mark! I have been to Thailand many times and love the culture, people and of course the food! I understand the comments about the service. My perspective might be unique?, I don’t go to a restaurant to hurry through so a quiet place where I can read the news while waiting for a meal cooked to order suits me. I ordered the Thai sausage with sticky rice and a chili dipping sauce, it brought back wonderful memories and was authentic. The lady seemed shy, not rude and she brought me ice water with a smile. The place is beautiful and again brought back wonderful memories. Give it a try for some amazing food and relax if it takes a little time.

This food is about as authentic as you can get. After realizing the only lady there is literally the only lady there running the shop and cooking, we couldn’t have been more impressed. My boyfriend got to talking to her and learned what part of Thailand she was from, and her family. We learned she made everything on her menu and they are her own recipes. Everything we tried was amazing. The sticky rice came just like it does in Thailand. We had chicken satay as an appetizer with a number 1 spice. And I would suggest nothing higher than a 1! He tried something I don’t know what it was. But I have the picture of it. And I had yellow curry with chicken. So yummy. We already talked about going back to try something different. She was very nice! All these comments saying she isn’t are not nice seeing as how she is doing everything. Seating. Taking orders. Drinks. And cooking up some amazing food!

Overall this wasn’t our favorite dining experience but there is a lot of potential here. Leading with the pros, the service was very fast, the atmosphere was was very nice, and the noise levels facilitated good conversation. The main problem with our experience was the food. Perhaps it was just luck of the draw on which menu items we choose, but our spring rolls were overly minty and the Massaman curry had odd consistency and was too sweet. The potatoes in the curry had a strange texture and carrots were too soft, as if they’d been soaking in liquid for a long time. The pork Pad Thai was delicious. It might have been a bit oily but had good flavor and great presentation. Overall though we struck out with two of three dishes, we’re still glad we went.

We disclosed to the server that my daughter has celiac’s disease and asked for gluten-free options. The owner then came out and said she refused to serve our child any food due to the risk of contamination. She refused to serve her even rice! She also then refused to let us bring in gluten-free food (which we have done to 200 restaurants in the last four years). We were absolutely shocked to be treated like this, first time since her diagnosis 4 years ago. Being celiac is hard enough for her and our family and the owner was shaming and made her feel terrible. Not OK! She’s just a kid.

I read the reviews that called out the bad service. I thought, how bad could it be? Unfortunately, it’s that bad. We were scoffed at and scolded. The owner was not happy to see our large party of six that she said we needed a reservation even though the restaurant was empty. She sat us, disappeared and came back with a look that said we were not welcome. In my experience, I don’t want to eat where I’m not welcome so she got her wish and we left.

I’m not sure what the positive reviews are about, but I did hear review equals discounts. I can’t risk doing that with all the red flags immediately walking into the place.

Walked in and was hit by a horrible smell, possibly sewage. My mother instantly started coughing from it. Lady at front desk did not actively greet us. I asked her for a table for 2. I did not observe her shoes but she very audibly clopped around the restaurant. Never a smile, it was like we were a huge inconvenience to her, and she smelled the weird smell too, judging by the look on her face the whole time. We left after 1 minute of being seated, my mom couldn’t breathe.

We walked in made eye contact with the lady there and she walked away. There was only one table in use when we arrived and after seeing the lady 3 times without being greeted we left. Food smelled great, atmosphere looked appealing but the service is anything but.

The WORST Thai food I’ve ever had! I ordered the Masaman Curry. It was NOT Massaman Curry, instead it was a horrible) sauce that looked like watered down sweet and sour sauce. It was completely tasteless and inedible.

I’d think this place be a lot better then we had. I’d rather have Panda Express orange Chicken for the next 100 years then eat here again. Everything was wrong about the food. Maybe it’s Thai-white? The service certainly was….. it’s the armpit of Idaho for a reason it’s stinky food not sticky.
