Absolutely loved this place! We decided to visit based on the star rating, and it did NOT disappoint. We ordered the veggie rolls, fried dumplings, Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodles. Every single dish was spectacular. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.

The staff was also so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for amazing Thai food and great service, this spot is definitely worth the visit! Highly recommend.

This place has a wonderful, homely atmosphere and serves incredibly authentic Thai food. They clearly prioritize quality ingredients, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The crab cheese wontons are a must-try! After two visits, this has become a permanent favorite for my family and me. Highly recommend the Thai Basil, Chicken Herb Fried Rice, and Curry Fried Rice

The food is great. And so is their service. To the person that says they cook with “heart” I 100% agree, this food has soul. I will absolutely come back.

I came because I was sick and in need of soup. I got the clear soup and an appetizer, both were perfectly executed. Will be back to try the entrees.

The chicken was perfectly breaded, lightly, perfectly fried (not oily at all), and perfectly seasoned. I dipped it in their house made peanut sauce which was not sugary like every where else. The portion was fantastic considering the price. Love!

I see why there’s people leaving updated reviews based on each time they visit. This place is an actual gem, that doesn’t need instagram ads to get customers like every other place around Dallas.

One of the nice Thai restaurants in Allen. Their pad thai dish are pretty good. Their is popular dish. They do serve various popular Thai foods. Come by and supper the family small business. They have good service and good food for a good price. We came in a big group. Tried their chicken and shrimp pad thai with sharable Thai papaya salad (Lao Style). Highly recommend for Thai food lovers in Allen.

The beef Pad Thai here is absolutely delicious, with tender beef that’s cooked just right—not dry or chewy at all. The Thai fried rice combination is equally amazing, with perfect flavors and very generous portions. It’s no surprise this place gets crowded in the evenings; the food is simply that good. With its welcoming atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for a family lunch or dinner.

We were looking for a place to go after church Wednesday night. If you live in Allen you know, as you approach 9pm the choices get more and more limited. We love Crystal Pho, but good luck catching them open! Even when they’re open, sometimes they’re closed, so we were looking for a new place that may want to have customers. We found Thai Papaya on Google with 4.9 review, open until 9pm!! So, we decided to give them a try and we were so glad we did. Unlike other places, when we walked in they seemed happy we were there. They didn’t look up at the clock, or their watch, or tell us they had to check the kitchen, they looked for a table and walked us to our table and took our drink order. We were already impressed. The restaurant seems brand new, very clean, with a contemporary style combined with nature, bamboo and greenery, and a sign I loved that simply reads, “family.” What a perfect fit for Allen. We ordered chicken satay as an appetizer. I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect to love it. Very often chicken satay is like chicken jerkey and I wonder why we order it. I have to say Thai Papaya was the best chicken satay I’ve ever had. It was moist, flavorful, and I would highly recommend. What a great protein appetizer, not fried, but juicy and delicious. My husband and I each ordered curry, he got the red curry and I got the pineapple curry, both chicken. I got a level 1 spicy and he got level 2. They were perfect. So much flavor! The food was so hot and fresh we couldn’t quite eat it until it cooled down. What a great problem to have! When we arrived there were 4 other tables dining. By the time we got our food they were gone, not that the food took a long time, but it was late, they were done, and so they left. We asked for togo boxes. The staff reassured us we did not have to leave, but we were fine to take it to go and put our feet up at home to finish. We appreciated that their response wasn’t, “Thank God! Get out,” like we sometimes get elsewhere as they mop around your feet while you eat. Lol I did want to mention I used the restroom while there. It was so clean. Everything was so clean. So, Thai Papaya is friendly, clean, fast, delicious and open during scheduled open hours. What more could you want? We will definitely be back. I look forward to going back and trying something else, although the pineapple curry was so delicious I’ll probably have to order that, too. Welcome to Allen Thai Papaya! We’re glad you are here.

I think we found our go-to Thai restaurant! I want to start off by saying the owner is such a kind soul and kept checking in on us! There wasn’t a moment where we were waiting for assistance! Such great service run by a wonderful family! And the food was beyond our expectations. Heavily authentic and very flavorful! I also recommend exploring the drink options, I thoroughly enjoyed the green Thai tea!

Thai Papaya in Allen, Texas truly impressed us. The food was every bit as good as the top Thai restaurants in the New York City area, where competition keeps quality exceptionally high. The satay was incredibly juicy — easily the standout of our order and the best I’ve had in a long time. The fried rice and noodles were fresh and delicious, with great flavor and texture. Portions were appropriate for the price, and the ambience makes it a comfortable spot for dine-in as well. Highly recommended.

Thai Papaya has become my new favorite restaurant in the area. I have ordered Pad See Ew at many Thai restaurants and their version of it is one of the best I’ve ever had. The waitress that serviced my table was excellent and kept refilling my drink constantly whenever it got low. I was also impressed that the restaurants serves Pepsi products since you don’t see that very often in Texas. I will definitely be a regular customer at this establishment.
