My husband & I love Thai food, and the Thai Palace Restaurant in Hartland ME offers some of the best we’ve found anywhere. It is delicious, well prepared, plentiful portions, and beautifully presented. Even the straws in the beverages come with one end protected by a pretty paper flower. The hot tea comes in a lovely Thai teapot that pours easily without a drop spilling. The service is excellent, with friendly helpful waitstaff. Fresh flowers on every table, a fountain flowing on one wall, and gentle music playing make for a relaxing atmosphere. We’ve been there three times, and plan a return in the near future. One suggestion to patrons: don’t miss their fabulous chicken satays with peanut sauce. Yum!!

I’ve been to this place a handful of times and have definitely been happy with my experience every time! The service is good, the atmosphere is good, and the food is excellent! The tom yum noodle soup, crab rangoon, and pad Thai are all great choices!

My husband and I ordered Tom Yum soup, spicy Pad Thai, and seafood Pad Cha. Everything was authentically Thai and we’ve visited Thailand multiple times! Cat is wonderful and made sure the guests were well attended to. Highly recommend this restaurant, we’ll be back. Do not hesitate to support a local business.

We could not be more happy to have great Thai food in Hartland ! The food here is exceptionally high in quality and authenticity and worth the ride if you are coming from a nearby town ! The owner and other staff could not be more friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is peaceful (and spotless !) It’s just a sweet place to eat in the center of this tiny town. The massaman curry and drunken noodles were delish and made with steamed rather than fried tofu at our request. I also had an avocado roll and it was fresh and perfect. We will be back for both Thai and sushi !!

In person experience: 5 out of 5! I prefer dining-in compared to takeout so much better. I got there right as they opened for dinner service. The service is very good. Everyone is welcoming. The food is also very good. They have one of the better bubble teas that I have tried. You can tell the boba are homemade. Nice and squishy.
Takeout experience: 4 out of 5. I try to avoid takeout from any restaurant like the plague, as I find it as a dis-service to restaurants. It is never the same as in-person. The only reason why I tried it here is because someone else ordered it for the group, which is rare in my life. A tradition when I try a new Thai restaurant for the first time is to get Pad Thai. I ordered the Crispy Pad Thai for takeout. Let’s just say the texture did not make it to me as advertised. Thankfully the flavor was good enough to make me want to go in-person on my own. I’m glad I went in-person.

Incredibly delicious food – one of the best restaurants for miles around. We had duck green curry and numerous rolls and sushi – ME roll, Thai Palace roll and Godzilla roll; all outstanding…..will return to this surprise gem very soon. Very friendly people and skilled sushi chef.

Wow! What a great find in Hartland! We had driven by many times this summer and finally decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was serene, the restaurant was incredibly clean and the waitstaff was SO warm and friendly. Our meals and the Sushi we had were fresh and flavorful. We will be back each time we are in Maine!

This place definitely has the best fish for sushi within 45 minutes of this location. Spring rolls were good, Thai tea was good. The sushi rice wasn’t seasoned how it would be traditionally and that’s my only complaint.

Hidden gem! Absolutely delicious sushi rolls. Generous portion sizes. Excellent sushi chef. Loved the Thai Palace roll, ME roll and the Godzilla roll. Smoked salmon sashimi was outstanding. I can’t wait to go back!
