Let me say something that I do not offer lightly — **Thai Palace and Sushi is the best Thai restaurant in the Springfield and Ozark area. Period.** And I say that as someone who has made it their personal mission to try every Thai restaurant this region has to offer. I have done the research. I have sat at the tables. I have tasted the food. And nothing — absolutely nothing in this area — comes close to what Thai Palace and Sushi is delivering on every single visit.
In fact, if you want a comparable experience, your next closest option is Kansas City. Let that sink in for a moment. This level of authentic, deeply satisfying Thai cuisine is right here in our own backyard, and not nearly enough people know about it yet. Consider this review my personal mission to change that.
Let us talk about the **Pad Thai** — because it deserves its own moment of recognition. From the very first bite, it was abundantly clear that this dish was crafted with both skill and genuine passion. The balance of flavors was extraordinary — savory, slightly sweet, perfectly seasoned, and layered with an authenticity that told you immediately this was not a rushed or watered down interpretation of a beloved classic. This was the real thing. Executed beautifully. The kind of dish that you think about long after the plate has been cleared and find yourself already planning your return visit around.
The owner brings a warmth and infectious passion to this restaurant that elevates the entire experience beyond just the food. Her love for what she creates is evident in every detail — from the care taken in the kitchen to the genuine hospitality extended to every guest who walks through the door. This is someone who is deeply proud of her restaurant and rightfully so. That pride translates directly onto the plate in the most delicious way possible.
I have already brought a friend to Thai Palace and Sushi, and I am bringing my wife this week — because when you discover something this good, keeping it to yourself simply is not an option. Every person in my life who appreciates exceptional food will find themselves at this restaurant at my personal recommendation, and I will not apologize for it.
**The bottom line:** Thai Palace and Sushi is a culinary treasure that the Springfield and Ozark community should be extraordinarily proud to have. Whether you are a lifelong lover of Thai cuisine or someone who has never explored it before, this is the perfect place to begin or deepen that journey. Come for the Pad Thai, stay for everything else, and leave as a devoted regular who wonders how you ever went this long without discovering it.
Do not wait. Make the trip. Your taste buds will thank you in the most spectacular way.

My husband and I were looking for something to eat for dinner, and after suggesting a few places he just pulled off the road. Thinking to myself, oh, he must know where he wants to go, I was wrong. We ended up in Ozark off of CC Hwy, just east of Lamberts. We were looking over at a strip mall and saw a Thai and sushi place. We thought, “What the heck? We’ll give it a shot!” We walked in to an elongated, diner style restaurant, and greeted by a very happy to be there hostess. We sat ourselves and started mulling over the menu with each other, trying to decide what we might want. I ordered the “xpress yourself” which is a make your own stir fry. I picked pork and beef, broccoli, mushrooms, onions and bamboo shoots with peanut sauce, #2 heat and steamed white rice. Everything was cooked fresh and to perfection. The veggies weren’t soft the meat was tender and the sauce is house made. My husband, however, who tends to live on the spicier side of life, ordered the Generals Chicken with the 5 star sauce (the hottest they offer) and noodles instead of rice. He gave me a bite and I’m here to tell you, it deserved all 5 stars, “THAT STUFF WAS HOT!” He however, loved the flavor and said it was the best Generals Chicken that he’d ever eaten. We ordered a shrimp tempura roll, 2 egg rolls and an order of crab rangoon. Also, I would say, the best we’ve had. The egg rolls and crab rangoon were made fresh upon ordering – everything was perfectly crispy. So, if you love Thai food, sushi and good service, I highly recommend this restaurant and give it 6 stars! The extra star is because the waitress reminded me of my daughter.

Food was slightly above average. We had to ask the waitress to clean the table after she seated us, but she wasn’t rude about it. She was kind and helpful. Our orders were oddly interpreted, but flavors were good and portions size was great.
My kids ordered off the express menu, and their food came out almost flavorless.

Ordered the Tempura California Roll, Spider Roll, Peanut Chicken with fried rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken with white rice and a side of noodles tonight. The sushi rolls & Sweet & Sour Chicken were excellent. Peanut Chicken was like eating fried chicken with melted thick peanut butter over it. I was hoping for something more like a peanut encrusted chicken with a light sauce poured over. Too thick and globby for my tastes…. Noodles were better than anywhere else in Ozark but tasted slightly of Soy Sauce. I’ll definately be back but not getting the peanut chicken again.

We stopped and ate at this place on our way to Branson. I was born and raised in Mo yet I live in OK and miss Springfield Style Cashew Chicken. Everytime I visit family, I have to get this meal. This is the first time I have ate at this restaurant and can say that this is the best I have had so far. The chicken was freshly coated and fired for my order. A previous review on small portion sizes are inaccurate. I read that review before trying this place out and overordered for my 7 year old who loves sushi. If you need more, visit the budget buffet places! If you want fresh, eat here. Great portion sizes, medium cashew chicken was more than enough for me (I’m a big guy) and the sushi was excellent. Sushi is larger portions than what you normally get at restaurants. Good Food, Good Service, Good place that I will be visiting again.

I have been super loyal to this place and some of the best Chinese food in the area. So good we went almost once a week. However I have noticed a decline in the service. Waited forever to get even our menus, only for other people who came in later get served before us. I will not be coming back.

Thai food and sushi in Ozark. I have come here many times over the years, the food is above average and consistent in quality, especially for the price. The fried rice needed some type of sauce for flavor but there were plenty of vegetables. The sushi rolls were good, especially the chucky roll, as were the appetizers we tried.
A great spot to try in Ozark.

The food was delicious! The wontons were superb, and the Bangkok Chicken was phenomenal. The sushi we tried was very pretty and tasty too. I will go back if nothing else just for the wontons.
