When it comes to “Thai b.b.q.”, I normally go to the one in Woodman and Roscoe, next to Jollibe. Today I came to this one to see what they got.
I ordered Thai ice tea and the B.b.q. pork ribs lunch special which comes with 3 pieces of b.b.q. pork ribs, and shrimp fried rice.
The B.b.q. pork ribs were cooked to perfection that they melt in my mouth as soon as I take a bite. The shrimp fried rice was also fantastic.
For $22.24 I think it was a very good deal. Iwill be coming back to check what else is good as soon as I’m around the area.

I’ve been coming to Thai BBQ in Northridge pretty much my whole life, and this place truly means a lot to me. The food is incredible — the chicken barbecue and beef satay are absolute staples and never disappoint — but what really makes this restaurant special are the people who work here. They are always so kind, warm, and welcoming, and you can genuinely feel the care they put into both the food and the experience. It’s rare to find a place that feels this consistent and heartfelt over the years. The Thai tea is amazing too! I honestly love this restaurant and the people behind it, and I’ll happily keep coming back for the rest of my life.

Since 2000 I have devoured this restaurants food and it was delicious, Service always lousy but didn’t care and lately I’ve gone to the Panorama restaurant because the food is just better, even Glendale but today I was rushed didn’t want to drive so I picked it up and sadly the flavor is kinda there but was so disappointed in the quality of proteins. Higher prices lower quality. Don’t think that’s a chicken breast I got, the ribs not as meaty. The chicken salad had what looked like boiled gizzards not the beautiful chicken I remember. Sadly will not return to this location although it’s down the street from me.

DISGUSTING!!!! Not only were we not allowed to eat at the location (which should’ve been our sign to not support the place) for the first time in months, but they sent us AGAIN without utensils. And to top it off, we find a bug in our food!!! Was this purposeful? I can only imagine how many other insects are in the boxes we didn’t even get to open because we are disgusted. Waste of time and money. Beware of this place!

Excellent. Ive been going to Thai Original BBQ locations over CA for 25 years and I have to say this place doesnt disappoint. I ordered my typical Thai salad and an S2 spare rib w/shrimp fried rice plate… Just as amazing as always. When we arrived, we were greeted enthusiastically and taken care of right away. The servers and the manager were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and came out at just the right time. Also, as a bonus, they have an aquarium filled with beautiful tropical fish. Definitely going to be coming back– thanks!

Highly recommend this place! Food is delicious and makes up for the few shortcomings it has (in my humble opinion) … what are those shortcomings, you ask. #1 … check hours before you come, they close pretty early in my opinion. #2 … ambiance isn’t great … very bare bones. #3 … service is acceptable but not exemplary. Like I said to begin with … even with these shortcomings …. the food AND the price point makes up for it. I think they “get away” with those shortcomings because they are so yummy and reasonably-priced. I can only imagine how mind-blowing they could be with some very minor tweaks.

Poor customer service. Waiter inattentive to customer. Food was nothing special but service was terrible. Never checked on our drinks. Wait staff all busy with cell phones and iPads. Ordered extra steamed rice and waiter sounded annoyed. Bad attitude. Not coming back. Will not recommend this place
