Our second time here and as Thai food lovers this restaurant fulfills that craving we get for authentic quality Thai. The owners are the nicest couple and they take pride in their food and service. The waitress is very helpful with suggestions and is very attentive. The mango and sticky rice was really good for a refreshing desert which we had the first time we went. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Don’t be confused as the cafe sign is still up from the previous restaurant that was here before.
One note on heat. If you say medium or spicy they go off their level spicy, not the American palette. If you can’t take heat make sure to be clear on your comfort.

I live about 45 minutes from Thai Orchid, and I’m always happy to make the drive to Scottsville for their incredible Thai food and Pho.
The owners make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. They’re warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share dishes with their customers. Every plate is full of rich, authentic flavors—the kind you only get when a chef truly cooks with love. And if you’re a spice lover, trust me, they know how to bring the heat (but only if you want it).
Their desserts take me straight back to childhood, especially the sticky rice that reminds me of my grandmother’s. And the Thai tea? Absolutely delicious on its own.

A charming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere where pleasant background music and delicious food combined to create a remarkable dining experience. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food was served remarkably fast and was absolutely delicious. The orange chicken was the best I have ever had with a super crunchy exterior. The steamed dumplings we had for appetizers were standouts. As well as the tom yum soup.

We just recently learned about this new restaurant in Scottsville. We live 35 minutes away on the KY/TN stateline and the drive is worth it. We love Thai food and this is some of the best we have had. The service is quite wonderful and speed of food delivery is very good. Prices are reasonable and the food portions are exactly what I expected of the pricing.
Favorites so far orange chicken, spring rolls, Pad Thai, peanut chicken and the chicken satay. All were hot, delicious and well seasoned. The orange chicken is crispy and vegetables on all the dishes are perfectly cooked. We can’t say enough good times about this place.

My husband wanted to try Thai Orchid for his birthday, so we placed a take-out order, and I drove in to get it. We live about 20 minutes away, and the food was ready as soon as I got there. Everything was good– the tom yum and tom kra soups, the pork toast, the chicken satay, the Thai fried rice with chicken, and the red and green curries. We were asked if we wanted it spicy, and we told them that we LOVE spice. They not only delivered on that, but they also sent us home with some extra red pepper in case we wanted more heat! We were absolutely delighted with the service, the friendliness, and the quality of the food, and we look forward to ordering again soon!

Awesome restaurant with amazing food. My wife got the pad thai and I got the garlic beef. Both were so good that I got the meatball pho to take with me. Definitely will go again and highly recommend.

I’ve been here twice in two days. Both times the service was great and the food was delicious.
First time, got the tom kra soup, my friend got the red curry. Second time, I got the wonton soup and the orange chicken, my mother got the tom kra and broccoli beef. The food is piping hot and beautifully plated as well as tasting amazing. Highly recommend the mango sticky rice as a dessert, and the Thai tea to drink.
