I’m not sure how this place has such a high rating! Let’s start with the run down plaza which was definitely the first indicator, but given the positive reviews and the amount of vehicles in the parking lot, we regretfully decided to give it a try. We ordered sushi rolls, a Thai beef salad, and red curry with chicken. I’d rate each of the ordered items as a 1⭐️The beef on the salad was very light in color and tasted so bad I could not eat the salad. The curry was very bland and had an extremely excessive amount of bamboo shoots. The photo shown with this review is about half of the bamboo that we picked out of the curry bowl. I’d highly recommend not patronizing this restaurant if you expect good quality sushi and Thai food!

This is the first time here and will say it is just a delightful place that is perfect. It is a small place and does fill up quickly. The menu is filled with great selection.
I will say that the service was a bit slow and only had two servers with a full house. However the food came out hot!
The Tom yum soup was good and the duck with brown sauce was crispy and tasty. My wife said her fried rice was the best that she ever had!
I would definitely come back and try this place again! We enjoyed it very much.

Just love getting food delivered just to spend the 1st 10 mins de-tail’in the shrimp so I can put them back and then clean up before I eat.
It was below average, noodles mushy, shrimp half shelled, tails on. Spice blah.
The dumplings were super bland.

Had a late lunch at this place because it is a favorite among a couple of friends in St. Petersburg. From the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall, but it seems popular as people were coming and going. The inside isn’t much better but serves its purpose. We had the tofu panang curry and squid pad Thai. Both of us felt the sauces were mediocre at best. The panang was watery and the tofu was dry and overcooked. The squid was cooked well. The lunch combo comes with an appetizer (an overcooked spring roll) and vegetable soup at a reasonable price. The sever was attentive.

Recommend their sushi and duck entrée, everything was phenomenal, the curry was solid as well, however, you can’t lose with that duck.

Thai Orchid food is tasty authentic Thai Cuisine and delightful Sushi. It is a super establishment. To be waited on right away and enjoy delicious and wonderfully crafted entrees is a nice break in the day. They always greet warmly and are engaging. The restaurant is a nice getaway for a quick and delicious lunch or get together.

So good. You can’t find a place that has Thai like this omg. I ordered so much food and everything was great I’ve ate here twice. The soup is great. I would order this soup if I was ever sick bc I feel like this is a hearty good warm soup that will help you feel better. I haven’t ordered anything from here that wasn’t good.

The food here is incredible. Service was slow but this was one of a few restaurants open after Hurricane Ian. Our server was super friendly and accomodating. Our sushi rolls were creative. Portions are huge. I wish sushi pieces were cut smaller. I could barely get the Toyota Roll in my mouth. Prices are reasonable. This restaurant was packed. There were only two workers here. They were both hustling, multitasking and not taking breaks.

Upon walking in, ambiance is cozy and well-decorated. Stopped in for lunch, they have a great lunch special (entree with soup and spring rolls) so highly recommend getting this! I didn’t care much for the soup, but the spring rolls were so crispy and flavorful. I got the tofu pad thai and L17 (honey peanut sauce with beef) and both were so amazing! So much flavor, textures were great, and service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
