The food here is amazing! So much so we returned for a takeaway.
The staff were all very friendly and really helpful with food choices. The food was hot, tasty and very flavoursome. I wouldnt hesitate to plan a return journey.
We did return for a takeaway and the staff although different ladies, were still very chatty and friendly, we talked about the foods that they enjoyed from the menu whilst I waited. The food was just as amazing as the first time!

I’ve never been to such a mixed place, the service was almost none existent people were being served in no particular order, people before us got their food at the same time as us but several people who came in after us got served before us all, but not all the food ordered was served to the correct people, part orders were served up and the remainder served 10 minutes later once the chef had re-cooked whatever was missing. The waitress apologised and said she’d got all the orders mixed up, maybe this was because there was a power cut as we arrived so orders were being taken by hand on paper.
Next the food, my partner had the Thai fishcake starter which was inedible and looked like a re-constituted sausage patti, very flat and thin and shiny. It also tasted disgusting, he left it. My vegetable spring rolls were just average. However, our main courses were the best we’ve tasted. I had massaman curry which was perfect and my partner had Thai Green Curry which, although too spicey hot for me, was perfect for him.
The place was busy and the bar was buzzing. If we went again I’d just have the main course.

I want to start by praising the customer service of the young female waiting staff. They were very polite and attentive.
We had a fantastic meal at Thai Orchid in Dalton. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken—seriously spicy but so full of flavour that I couldn’t stop eating them (even if I did regret the heat a little the next morning! ). My wife had the salt and chilli chicken and was equally impressed, raving about how well-balanced and tasty it was.
We shared the waffles and ice cream for dessert, which was a lovely treat and finished the meal off perfectly.
The restaurant itself has been newly renovated and looks great. It has a really nice, relaxed vibe inside and a comfortable outdoor area that’s perfect for warmer days. Overall, we loved it and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting really good, authentic Thai food in Dalton.

After a mixup over our booking we choose to sit in the outside dining area – A bit rustic but with a unique charm.
Huge praise to Shawni for sorting everything out for us. And taking our order.
The food arrived quickly and nicely presented. The quality of the starters and mains were of the highest quality and super tasty.
This Is a total gem of a restaurant and if you’re in the area you should call in and treat yourself.
Will we be be back? Absolutely!

Ordered online for takeaway. 35 minute wait was given, but we waited more than ten minutes more. Which is ok as the food is very good, and they were likely serving tables, as it was quite busy.
Chili Prawns and two different red curries were all appreciated. Good portion sizes.

Been there many times before, the food is always delicious.
The starters and the mains choices are good, the dessert choices is not very Thai or asian inspired.
The choices were chocolate cake, banana fritters, various flavors of ice creams (vanilla, strawberry and chocolate).
The restaurant decor is very dated and haven’t changed in the last twenty years.

Appalling food, almost 45 minutes late. Surly staff. Worst dining / takeaway experience in many years.
Angry lamb was barely spicy and the mean had the taste and texture of kidney. Also ordered beef cashew and it had an identical piece of meat in it to the ‘lamb’. Neither got eaten. Just awful.
If I could upload pictures to these reviews I would show you how cheap and awful the meat was.
Over a hundred quid. Everybody wasted. Atrocious.

90 mins for 2 courses, £8 for fresh orange peach schnapps and lemonade told tills had gone down then they were so busy doing take away food, people left, young staff no management to deal chips arrived after 8 mins, faces from many guests said it all, thats not all, don’t go o get takeaway
