We had a date night here because we wanted to try Thai food for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. We asked the waiter for recommendations and they were very patient with us while going through the menu. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it. Service time was okay, food was fresh and tasty.
Their cocktails are amazing too!
Prices are very fair, nice and cosy ambiance especially at night.
We’d made a reservation but ended up getting there about half an hour early which wasn’t an issue at all. We were given a table immediately.
Only downside for me was that they tried to sneak in a service charge although their website clearly stated service charges were only for tables of 5 or more people.

My first time at a proper Thai restaurant. Food was absolutely out of this world, loved every bite we took. The way the main’s are served made it very easy for us to all share which is a big plus for us. Quality, flavour and quantity were all ace so absolutely no faults with the food.
The only issue was trying to order drinks, we ordered a drink around 10 minutes before the starters arrived which wasn’t received until we had finished our starters. Additionally when asking for the drinks menu, it felt like we were inconveniencing the server.
Other than that small hiccup service was good, a little hectic but in a fun, enjoyable way that leaves you feeling cared for.
Overall very good little spot, the restaurant itself is absolutely spotless and has a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back and would recommend.

What an amazing wee place. Don’t come to Glasgow much but will definitely be back here! Reasonably priced in my opinion – I had starter, main, rice and 3 beers and still came in under £50 including service. Friendly helpful staff, happy to recommend dishes according to preference and taste. Menu had the Thai favourites but plenty of other different choices too. Food was superb, so much flavour, so authentic. If you enjoy your Thai food do not miss out on this!!!

My first visit to Glasgow and we found this Gem of a place on our first night. We received a lovely warm welcome from friendly staff. The restaurant had a nice ambient atmosphere. We ordered scallops & a sharing platter to start with, then pad thai & duck for main which was all really fresh and tasty

Saturday evening in Glasgow and no restaurant reservation! Popped into Thai Orchid and lucky for us a couple were just leaving so managed to get a table. Excellent attentive service throughout, relaxing atmosphere and tasteful decor, and incredible food! Couldn’t ask for anything more. We will definitively be back…and we’ll book in advance next time.

The staff (specifically the manager) was quite rude. The food was great, as was the ambiance, but the manager was quiet rude to both myself and my partner, and the delivery riders that came in to collect orders. Out of principle alone, that’s unacceptable in the service industry.
