We have loved Thai orchid since way back in the day, pre pandemic, when the place was packed, and we still love it. Today, it’s a more tranquil, quieter spot with the same delicious dishes. I recommend highly any of the Tom Yum soups, which is epically flavorful and utilizes basil instead of cilantro (yay!) for its flavor profile. Delicious curries and noodle dishes, including a delicate but delicious pot stickers appetizer that is not the Americanized deep fried experience you find elsewhere. And, they offer squid, which they know how to cook without rubberizing, in all their dishes as a seafood selection. So delicious.

It’s really like a 4.8 across the board but the experience was too good. I was in bliss alone in the Thai restaurant, rain coming down and I’m by the window; couldn’t be more perfect. Anyways I got the Thai Orchid Spring Rolls for myself downed 80% of them I will those are an acquired taste. Now the Chef’s special Thai Curry oh my god what a treat. I told them make it spicy and I think the restaurant went easy on me haha. Overall, 9.5/10 will definitely come back with friends.

An authentic Thai gem, fully run by passionate Thai locals who truly know their craft. Every single dish I tried was bursting with flavor—rich, balanced, and beautifully presented. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get. I ordered a variety of dishes, and not one disappointed—each bite felt like a journey to Thailand. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it perfect for both casual meals and special nights out. If you’re looking for real Thai cuisine that hits all the right notes, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

One of the TOP Thia restaurants in the area. They accommodate (even know by name) my peanut allergy- the food is consistently good and fresh. The taste are amazing and your always greeted and served with professionalism and kindness. The take out is equally as delicious as eating in.

Inside is very dated but the quality and portion size of the food is good. Still clean and well kept. Authentic and thai owned as well. Prices are fair relative to the portion size, around $16 after tax for chicken pad thai.

I have heard a few mixed reviews about this place, but my wife wanted to try it so here I go with my take on Thai Orchid Cafe. The restaurant is very neat and fresh looking. Its a small place but still a comfortable size that your not sitting on top of each other.
the food was just ok to me, but my wife loved it. we had the spicy steak skewers, i thought that was good. it came with some very good dipping sauces. The one dish we both didnt like at all, was the fish cakes. I do not understand what part was fish. all we tasted was rubbery half dollar coin sized disc. the last dish we had was the Pad see ew, this is my favorite dish, but not from this place. the sauce was a bit to strong and the dish seriously was short on noodles. would i come back, maybe if the wife ask to come.
As of 4/23/18 I have come back for their lunch special. I strongly encourage you to do the same. For $7.95 you can’t go wrong.

I visited Thailand earlier this year and Thai Orchid is as close as it gets to authentic Thai cuisine! I definitely recommend ordering a pot of ginger tea to start and the sticky rice with custard for dessert. Also, this restaurant doesn’t mess around with the heat – one of the few places that actually serves spicy food! Pro tip: ask for the spicy tray and they’ll bring out three different options to add additional heat to your meal.
Service is always phenomenal. You can tell that the staff is working extremely hard and genuinely cares about providing a great experience.
Highly recommend! Best Thai food in Western New York!

Very plain food the Pad Thai had no sauce on it. We didn’t really eat it because it was not good it was literally just plain noodles. I got the red curry medium spicy it was better than the Pad Thai but not much flavor still and hardly any spice. Also their website pricing is not accurate I guess. The bill was about 40% more than it should have been based on the website menu with prices but they didn’t give an itemized receipt so idk why.
