Charming atmosphere, good service & good food. Service was good, our waitress was excellent. We had the basil wings & sampler. The wings, crispy spring rolls & crab Rangoon were delicious. For the entree, I enjoyed the pad Thai which was lacking in flavor, but satisfying. Servings are large! My husband had the cashew chicken (hot) & he said it was “pretty good” but he wished he would’ve ordered it less spicy.

Went here for our anniversary. It was pleasent enough to actually talk to my significant other while sharing a meal. It seemed the majority of their traffic was delivery. Our waiter was excellent and patient with us. And the food came out amazing. It felt like a 5 star michellene restaurant. I highly recommend the crunchy spring rolls and the khao soi. Easily my new favorite dish

You must absolutely come here! The service was amazing, our server Alains was excellent and extremely welcoming as well as informative throughout our entire meal. He helped us chose the best food as well as actually interact with us. We loved the crab ragoons as well as the espresso martini drink (mangers drink). Everything from the food, atmosphere, and service was phenomenal. Definitely give Alains some type of raise!

There was a piece of plastic in my soup. This could be a choking hazard. No one came to check how my food was so I couldn’t tell them. They just picked up the plate and left. Food was not authentic I’ve had better Thai. Prices are also steep for the quality and portion sizes

Finally made it in to try for restaurant week and was not disappointed! This is definitely a hidden gem in Mission. My server, Ken, was absolutely wonderful and did a great job answering my questions. All of the staff were friendly despite being extremely busy and on a wait. That sticks out to me in particular being a service industry worker myself. Especially in a smaller space the attitude of the staff can make or break the atmosphere. Overall, I’d give Thai Orchid a 10/10 and I will absolutely be back!

We had a great experience and great food! I made a reservation after exploring the KC Restaurant Week site! Alvin was a great server, he was efficient and had a great personality. I drove 30 minutes and it was worth it, I will be back!

Really delicious Thai food with great service as well. Their pad thai is flavorful, and their crab Rangoon appetizer is excellent as well. The only thing that we didn’t like as much were the dumplings, but that’s only because we are more in it for steamed dumplings than fried. Overall, great experience!
