I was disappointed with my meal. The vegetables were overcooked, and there was an overwhelming amount of turmeric in both dishes—so much so that it stained my hands for hours. I’ve never encountered that much turmeric in Thai cuisine before. We ordered the ‘spicy’ level (just one step above mild), but it was completely inedible; we couldn’t manage more than a few bites. I can’t imagine how intense the higher levels are. We won’t be ordering again from this place.

Just ok!! I don’t think the crab Rangoons had any crab in them, just cream cheese. Everything was spicy – including the sweet and sour sauce. I got the chicken pad thai at medium and it was spicy. Had a good amount of flavor, was seasoned a little differently than I am used to.

After COVID, they decided to not open up the dining hall anymore especially since their son is now in college. Only to-go service offered now.

Loved the food! perfect balance of spices. I ordered Panaag curry, Thai fried rice, Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup were delicious and I felt it’s made from scratch. If you are Thai food enthusiast, this place is worth a try. I believe, its open for dinner only.

Been eating their food since they first opened. I haven’t been able to find a better pad Thai anywhere my travels have taken me. As a culinarian I can only hope and strive to make my food and sauces taste as good as Thai Orchids. I’m blessed I’ve been able to introduce my fiancé to their food bc she will frequently request I grab takeout There’s a reason they’ve been open since 2004 and I’m happy to be a part of it.

I really liked this restaurant when I first moved into the area. Unfortunately, hospitality and food quality has since declined. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was met at the front by the man who would later take my order. I asked if they were open as it appeared as though he was locking the door. After a curt response of “yes”, he proceeded to open the door for himself and it swiftly shut behind him. I should mention I’m 8 months pregnant. I ordered the Thai Basil Noodle, a noodle dish with wide noodles, broccoli, bamboo shoots and chicken, requested it be at the highest spice level. When I came back to collect my order, I was told my meal would be “medium” and when I asked for this to be corrected, they put a vinegar-based condiment into my bag. When I opened my order, I was disappointed to see my noodles were super-short, my broccoli looked and tasted as though previously frozen. While there was a decent amount of chicken, it seemed rubbery and some pieces were burned. The vinegar- based hot sauce included threw the dish off for me, personally. There also seemed to be a hair in my food. Overall, was very disappointed with the meal.

Great tasting food but please don’t skimp out on packaging. Ordered the basil noodles and it was shoved into a really small styrofoam box. It all spilled into the plastic bag by the time i reached home. Otherwise really good place.
