My wife and I were looking for quality thai food in Tahoe, and had thought it would not be findable. However, Thai One On exceeded all expectations. The yellow curry was magical. The hangover noodle dish was just spicy enough to be flavorful, but not so spicy it was hot. They know how to cook tofu to perfection.
Beyond the food, the staff was fantastic. They offered suggestions when necessary and were always helpful.

I give them 4 stars only because I haven’t actually been to Thailand to taste authentically.
I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times and Every time I have been here it has been great food. I’ve been lucky enough to be there on not so busy nights, and the food has always come out prompt and hot! I’ve had just about every curry on their menu and they were all flavorful and delicious with potatoes & carrots in addition to the other items listed. The pumpkin curry is the best; just the right amount of spice! Their hangover is delicious as well and most of their appetizers.
If you’re looking for something deliciously different, this is the place! Moderately priced as well so you’re not breaking the bank!

Have you ever had real Thai food? Then you will know that this is a very poor facsimile. 0 flavor. How is that possible! Scallops seemed like they were waterlogged. Duck curry was regretful. Again 0 flavor. Don’t waste your time or hard earned money.
Update. My wife vomited the next morning after eating that food.
If I could put a rating at.001 that’s what I would give this restaurant. They must be doing thier own rating.

I had the red curry here with tofu and the spring rolls and had them for take-out. The food was ready in the time that they said, and was plentiful. I went back to dine in with the kids, and there was only one person in the restaurant for five tables – I think she was also cooking. Fifteen minutes after we’d gotten there, we still hadn’t ordered so we left.
I would go back for take-out in a heartbeat.

We were looking for Thai and this was the only place nearby. The golden egg roll and glass noodle pad thai were AMAZING. Especially the egg roll, could hear them being made in the kitchen fresh for us (we were the only ones there, near closing time). Clean, fast service, looks like they might have gotten their act together recently.

Food was good. A lady hosted our table. Hospitality was terrible!! The lady was mean and once even refused to come near the table to answer! There was a clear difference in the way our table and other tables were treated. And believe me, we were perfectly cordial in our communication and behavior. I would not recommend this place, if you are looking for a good relaxed happy meal.

Panang curry was decent but not authentic. It seems a little overrated for what it is – I guess there aren’t a ton of Thai places in Tahoe so maybe that’s why everyone thinks this is the best Thai in Tahoe. I’d go again but will keep looking for other options.

It’s our go-to Thai place in Stateline/South Lake Tahoe. We dined twice, one dinner and one lunch, over the course of a week’s stay. The Hangover Noodles and Mussaman Curry were favorites.

Pumpkin curry tested like peanuts and not much else. Uncomfortable spartan seating. Only one or two drink options. My wife liked it.
