If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine, Thai on Main Street in Monroe is a gem worth visiting. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the clean and inviting atmosphere, with decor that truly evokes the feel of Thailand.

The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and true to traditional Thai recipes. Our standout dish was the garlic green beans—hands down the best we’ve ever had! Crisp, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor, they alone are worth a trip. The rest of the meal didn’t disappoint either. The portion sizes were generous, and each dish came packed with vibrant, fresh ingredients.

There are plenty of traditional menu items to choose from, so anyone craving authentic Thai flavors will feel right at home. The service was friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was bustling. A word to the wise: arrive early to avoid the dinner rush, as it fills up fast.

We’ll definitely be returning. Thai on Main Street is a must-try for Thai food lovers in the area!

Good service and tasty Thai food. We had crab rangoon, panang curry, and pad see ew. All were good, but the panang curry really stood out and had delicious flavor. We had previously visited this restaurant and didn’t have a great experience, but it was clearly an off night as our second visit was much better. The owner was kind and ensured we had a nice meal and a better second visit.

Probably the first time I’ve eaten Thai food and did not feel compelled to add any additional seasonings or sauce. The garlic chicken lunch special is amazing. Even down to the stuffed wonton. Restaurant was clean, my server was really friendly. Hopefully I get to Monroe and I can eat here again.

I want to start off by saying the food here is great. I ordered the duck curry and was so suprised to see that there were 4 small pieces of broccoli and a couple of thinly sliced carrots. Typically when I have curries there is a lot of vegetables. I understand that duck is expensive but I was disappointed with the lack of fresh vegetables. This will be my last visit to Thai on main. ☹️

It wasn’t a great experience tonight – we’ve certainly experienced better in the past from this restaurant.
The pad kee mao was ordered 3-star spice level, but was essentially flavorless and certainly had no spice. The rice noodles hadn’t been separated, and what little sauce had been put on the dish couldn’t get to most of the clumpy noodles, leaving you with a mouthful of unseasoned rice noodles.
The “panang” curry, while certainly flavorful, was clearly primarily a red curry, not seasoned as one would a panang, and was too soupy.
The jasmine rice was somewhat undercooked and crunchy.
The Lao sausage, however, was a definite bright spot, absolutely delicious!

We came here last year while we were visiting Washington and we loved it.
Last year, we brought three granddaughters so with 5 dinners ordered, we had a good variety of dishes and all were enjoyed.
This year we were in town for a few days in early Oct and we stopped by towards the end of the dinner rush. We parked a block away around the corner, street parking which was free.
They were busy but seated us right away and the service was good.
My wife ordered the pho chicken soup and she loved it. It was a generous serving so my wife took half of it home.
I ordered the orange chicken with cashews and a level 3 of 5 spicy/heat. It was perfect for me, but also generous so I took some of the chicken and rice home too.
I highly recommend Thai On Main Street.

Update 2/20: Still my favorite. The chicken satay with their house made peanut sauce is lit. Never had such good peanut sauce in my life.

This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in the Snohomish/Monroe area. The food is much less sugary and way more flavorful than its competitors. The spice levels are on point! I like it spicy and a 5 ⭐️ is perfect for me! But you can go up if you want or dare! The charming atmosphere is unique and artistic. The service is friendly. Must try the Khao Poon Katee (Lao curry noodle soup) and Laab on the Lao menu!!
