Incredible food. It has been one of the best dining experiences. The place has limited seating so it gets busy during dinner but it’s worth the wait. Friend and I had three dishes Fried Pork Belly served with Sticky Rice, Somtam and Khao Soi Chicken. Everything hit the mark. The size was big and it was great to share. I also tried their Thai tea which was the perfect accompaniment. I will be back again. Keep up the good work.

A cozy little spot on a very unassuming stretch of Bloor. Their menu might be tiny but theres a lot of flavour packed into the food. Love the concept of a rotating daily main alongside the chicken rice and khao soi mainstays.
The sauces that came alongside the chicken rice and the special of the day while we were there (pork noodles) were notably amazing.

Cute, cozy, and welcoming spot with so much heart. Run by a Thai couple, with a woman chef, you can truly feel the care and authenticity in the dishes.
Highly recommend the mango salad, veggie spring rolls with mint sauce, chicken/tofu khao soi, and the shrimp tom yum soup.
Would definitely come back in summer for their mango sticky rice!

Thai Nyom delivers truly authentic Thai flavors that are hard to come by. I had the shrimp paste fried rice and coconut layer cake—and I can honestly say they were the best I’ve ever tasted. The rice was beautifully balanced, and the accompaniments were fresh and thoughtfully arranged. The coconut layer cake? Delicate, fragrant, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection.
We also picked up the chicken rice to take home, and it was absolutely authentic—the kind of comforting, flavorful dish that instantly made me feel like home. The rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, the chicken tender, and the sauce brought everything together beautifully.
You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. If you’re craving real Thai cuisine, this place is an absolute must. I’ll be coming back for more!

Been here so many times now. My fave is the chicken and rice dish, it’s so simple yet so flavourful, a very comforting meal. Khaoi soi is also a go to of mine. $18 for both and good portions. I’ve never had their daily special but they also look amazing.

The food here is probably my favourite Thai food outside of Thailand! The service is so friendly, the dishes are so delicious and authentic, and the flavours are perfect!
They have a few options available everyday and a chef special that changes each day

The chicken khao soi ($18) was a delicious hot lunch for a chilly day. Service was warm, friendly and efficient and the space was bright and airy. I recommend.

THAI NYYOM is the kind of place that reminds you why authentic cooking always stands out. The menu is small, but every dish packs a massive punch of flavor and freshness. You can really taste the care and tradition from the Thai chefs in every bite… it feels like a home-cooked meal made with love.
The pork tom yum soup was absolutely to die for, with the perfect balance of heat, tang, and depth that lingers in the best way. The mango salad was so refreshing, crisp, and bright… exactly what you want to complement the richness of the other dishes.
Beyond the food, the service was just as memorable. Warm, cheery, and genuinely welcoming, the staff made the experience feel like dining with friends rather than at a restaurant. It’s the kind of hospitality that keeps you smiling long after you leave.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors in Toronto, THAI NYYOM is a must. It may be a small spot, but the heart, freshness, and flavor are anything but.

Thai Niyom is such a lovely and cozy spot!
The owner and the chef are super friendly and really care about every customer it honestly feels like visiting a friend’s house.
I love their food, especially the Khao Kluk Kapi (shrimp paste fried rice) it’s my all time favorite!
They have daily specials too, which are always worth trying.
The prices are very affordable (I’d even say cheap!), and the restaurant is easy to get to.
No wonder they have so many regular customers we all keep coming back!
Highly recommend Thai Niyom if you’re looking for real Thai vibes and delicious food.

Today, while running errands in downtown Toronto, I happened to pass by a Thai restaurant. I glanced inside and saw that the menu featured dishes like Khao Man Gai and Khao Soi. After tasting them, my homesickness for Thailand instantly disappeared. The staff member who served us was also very friendly and engaging in conversation. Everything was simply perfect.
