Friday night my wife and were passing through town staying the night in Grand Junction. We ate here for dinner. There are not a lot of tables and fortunately we were able to get one before the rush. It was full shortly after our arrival and in addition to the take out business, service was slower than I would expect. They could use another person or two. Because of the compressed seating, it was a noisy. Not the place for an intimate conversation. Overall, it was good and if in the area I would consider it.
Also, our “medium” spice had visible flakes and was not very easy to eat… (we like spicy)
Be careful when ordering!
My husband and I have been coming here almost weekly for over a year. Every time the food feeds the soul. It is consistent, flavorful and hearty. Would recommend the chicken green curry mild, where my husband says the chicken yellow curry mild is the best. However, everything on the menu is made by hand and with love.
Owner and cook are real Thai.
– Tom yum goong (shrimp), medium has quit a kick. But flavorful and the $20 comes with 6 big shrimps.
– Pad thai is indeed easily top 5 we have had and we are picky. Standard is not spicy, mildly tangy, sweet, salty. Perfect balance
– drunken noodles i went a bit far and ordered spicy. It was good but i was sweating a bit. I would say their medium is spicy for others, their spicy is a little put of this world.
– pad prik mold was good. Even it had a small kick.
Owner is super nice and kind. Food is great. Priced a little toward Denver menu prices, but maybe Grand Junction is also expensive to eat out.
So glad to find a nice Thai restaurant in GJ.
