Not the best Thai around. I had the Basil with ground chicken spicy. The flavor was not Thai and too sweet. Also the got my order wrong. I asked for no mushrooms and it was loaded. Wife had some noodles that failed in the spicy department but she was able to add chillies to make it better. Egg roll were also a disappointment. Lacked much flavor at all.

Forgot food pictures but we got the Pa-nang curry and the spicy crazy noodles and both were yummersss!! To me the noodles weren’t spicy but I have a pretty high spice tolerance so next time I’ll ask for jalapeños or a side of chili oil sauce if I do takeout. The curry was delicious and nutty, a bit sweet, and so smooth and creamy. The prices were great! We had leftovers for a movie at home after 🙂

P.S park in the back like you would a friends house

This was one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a while. The beef in the pad see ew was tender and tasty. The dish had the perfect amount of sauce and had a generous portion size for the price. Everything was delicious. My server Joy was also wonderful.

This place is a must visit for Thai lovers!

Before I get to the food the staff are absolutely wonderful, very friendly and kind people. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Small area but its well decorated and has a really nice vibe.

The food is genuinely the best vegetarian thai food i’ve ever had. Ordered Pad see ew, Thai Kee Mau and Thai spicy fried rice. Now most places would get these tasty but all 3 would have a similar taste. But here, every dish was vastly different flavor profile. The fried rice was definitely the most unique and best tasting dish from the 3, 10/10 on the fried rice, I highly recommend. The other 2 were just extremely flavorful and tasted really fresh. 9/10 for both. The quantity was very generous and the noodle dishes became overwhelming towards the very end. But the fried rice was a fantastic balance. I highly recommend this place, will be visiting again.

I decided to give this spot a try and was very pleased with the food. The flavors and the portions are great. Something that caught my eye was the constant number of carry out orders that kept coming in and out throughout my visit, which tells me it is a local favorite. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been eating at Thai Noodles Cafe for years and have spent a lot of money here because I genuinely loved the food and the service. Unfortunately, things have really changed , and not for the better. The previous employees (the two younger girls) were always welcoming and friendly. Now there are two new ladies working there who are not welcoming at all. The customer service was terrible. When I walked in, it honestly felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. On top of that, the food quality has gone downhill. It’s just not the same anymore. What made the experience even more unpleasant was seeing the chefs repeatedly walking outside to smoke cigarettes while cooking. That’s not something customers should have to witness, and it definitely affects the overall experience.
It’s really disappointing because this used to be one of my go-to spots. Sadly, I can’t continue giving them the benefit of the doubt. With service like this, they’re going to lose loyal customers. There are better Thai restaurants in the area that actually value their customers.
Do not recommend. It gets Zero stars from me. Hopefully they can improve but I doubt it.

We came here super late and they were welcoming, we left by closing time. Everyone was super nice! Food was really good. I tried the beef on rice and my husband the pad thai, which he loved.
Definitely coming back soon!!

For over 20 years, we have been visiting the Thai Noodle Cafe in Libertyville. Tucked away in a charming two-story house off the bustling Milwaukee Ave, this restaurant holds a special place in our hearts.

The first thing you notice upon entering is the warm and inviting atmosphere. With the dining room situated on the first floor of the little house, it exudes a cozy, homey feel. It’s a delightful escape from the outside world, transporting you to a place of comfort and relaxation.

Throughout the years, our favorite dishes have remained consistent. The chicken satay is always a must-order for us, with its perfectly grilled skewers of tender chicken and rich peanut sauce. The Tom Yum soup is another staple that never disappoints, with its aromatic and spicy broth packed with flavorful herbs and fried tofu.

When it comes to main courses, our favorites are the Thai curry and spicy basil chicken. The Thai curry is a delightful medley of flavors, with its creamy and fragrant sauce complemented by tender meat and fresh vegetables. The basil chicken, on the other hand, is a savory and aromatic dish that always hits the spot.

Despite not visiting for a few years, our recent visit to Thai Noodle Cafe was a comforting reminder of why we love this place. Everything tasted just as familiar and delicious as we remembered, and we truly appreciated the consistent quality and taste. It’s evident that this is a clean, well-maintained, and family-owned restaurant that takes pride in serving their customers with care.
