What makes it even better is the price. The dishes are very reasonably priced compared to many other Thai restaurants, yet the quality is just as good, if not better. You really feel like you’re getting great value for what you pay.
On top of that, the chef works quickly, so you don’t end up waiting long before your food arrives. It’s nice to have a place where you can enjoy fresh, flavorful Thai food without a long delay. For anyone who loves Thai food and wants both quality and affordability, this spot is definitely one of the top choices.
It’s been a while since I last visited, but once again the food was absolutely satisfying. The location isn’t great and the interior is small and simple, but the quality of the dishes more than makes up for it. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The prices are unbelievably reasonable—3 to 4 dishes came out to less than $50, and the portions were very generous. The chef works quickly with amazing skill, and every plate felt like true homemade cooking. This is one of those hidden gems that I always look forward to revisiting. Highly recommended!
The best of the best Thai food Service is slow, but the price and taste are one of the best
Shrimp fried rice especially the best Yamunsen is also the best
My total was $40.51. The pineapple fried rice was $20 and the chicken pad Thai was $17. For those prices, you expect quality and decent portions.
The $20 pineapple fried rice had almost no meat. It looked like a few tiny pieces of ground chicken mixed in. For $20, that’s completely overpriced for what I received.
The $17 chicken pad Thai had barely any chicken — maybe two small pieces — and none of the usual greens or bean sprouts you typically get. The portion was small and the flavor was bland. At those prices, this is not acceptable.
When I called the next day to ask for a remake or refund, the man on the phone was extremely rude. He said he didn’t care if he lost customers, didn’t care if I left a bad review, and even said he didn’t care if the food was nasty. He told me to drive from Sherman Oaks to North Hollywood to return the food — even though I paid for delivery. That’s unreasonable.
Overpriced food, small portions, and terrible customer service. This was my first and last time ordering here. I would not recommend this place.
I have had much better Thai food in other places.
The atmosphere, however, generally was fine
The man working the cashier and taking orders only ever checked on us once.
What annoyed me and even angered me the most was the fact that the owner refused to honor and give us an advertised 4% discount for paying cash.
There is a sign by the cashier stating that those paying with cash can get 4% off their bill.
To pay my bill, I had to go up to the counter myself. The man calculated my bill and gave me a copy.
When I told him I wanted to avail of the 4% discount, he said, “That is the cash discount,” even though the calculated bill clearly showed the same prices as those on the menu without any subtracted discount whatsoever.
Whoever goes there, call him out on this if you pay cash. They should honor this if they have some sign advertising such a discount.
We love the curries and had the red curry with chicken…medium spice was perfect. We also had the eggplant with basil and chicken…yum!
We are definitely coming back!
