The reason is place is so good is that there’s only one or two Thai ladies who take the order and cook all by themselves. That means they cook fresh food right then after taking the order and nothing is kept already prepared and reheated. It’s a good little place to get some Thai food from.

Really happy about my experience. Can’t believe I graduated from Rutgers without knowing about this place! The lady behind the counter was very friendly. I am usually reluctant about takeout because of my sensitive stomach, but I have no complaints about Thai Noodle. The food tastes great and was very spicy as I requested. Would recommend.

I don’t know what people classify as comfort food, but if there is a definition this place is it. The lady’s food is delicious. Her food is authentic. Her food is cheap, and her food is plenty. From her Thai tea to curry to gorgeous soup to flavorful noodle mixed with peanut bits and lemongrass, every dish on her extensive manu tells you that she cares about the tastes and she is proud of them. Every time I eat at Thai Noodle, I feel as if I am at home, despite that I am not from Thailand. In countless dreamless night, Thai Noodle stands as a home to exhausted students and a treasure to Rutgers and New Brunswick.

Pad Thai Lunch Special was was pretty good and nice size portion. We did have to wait about 20 mins for food since it was the owner cooking and ringing people up. I asked to have mine spicy (level 4) out of 5 heat levels and I did not find it spicy at all…but still flavorful.

We have lived in New Brunswick for over a year and a half and have eaten Thai food elsewhere which is overpriced and subpar. We found this GEM of a place over the weekend and are in love. The spice and flavor are so incredible for such a good price. The taste is authentic and I agree with another reviewer, the definition of comfort food. I’ve been eating leftovers for 2 days and dont want it to finish! So thankful we found this place!

Food is stunningly good. Fast becoming habit forming for me… Generally spicy noodles are excellent, and have tried some Thai curry. Very good value to boot. Eating in, it isn’t the fanciest place, but perfectly fine.

The appetizers were decent but the main dishes were sub-par at best. The curry and the noodle dish each had the same unpleasant smokey flavor and neither tasted good. If you’ve experienced good Thai food elsewhere you will be less than pleased.

Great small place for having a quick bite of thai. They have a nice variety of flavored iced teas. I am a vegetarian and they have good no-man’s-land options too. My personal favorite is Pad Keep Mao rice. You get choose the level of spice from 1-5. Iced teas could be too sweet sometimes.

This was my go-to spot for comfort food when I went to Rutgers. The woman knew my order just from hearing my voice, no matter what number I called from. She makes a very authentic, high value meal. Order any of the curries with chicken and the pad thai (extra sauce, extra peanuts). I always try to stop by for a pick up order when I am driving past the New Brunswick/Piscataway area. Miss being walking distance from this spot.
