I was expecting something on the drier side with minced meat like that in the menu picture when I was ordering Pad Basil. I was caught off guard when I opened the takeaway box at my hotel as it seems the stir fry dish had slices of meat instead with a watery sauce. The food and drinks lean towards the sweeter side but overall the taste is good. I removed one star mainly because I was craving for something that is drier with a sharper taste for that meal.

If you see this food truck on Google review and pass on going here, you’re making the biggest mistake ever.

I always thought Thai food was Thai food, they’re all somewhat the same. I was so very wrong!

This was THE BEST Thai food I’ve ever tasted in my life. I went back and ordered more to take home. The cook was very kind, food was fresh, and OMG so delicious!

Bonus – if you’re someone who hates overpriced food, you’ll be pleasantly surprised as the prices were unbelievably low! They could easily charge more. The least expensive and best tasting, that’s not easy to find these days.

Authentic Thai Street Food at Thai MLK

The food was absolutely delicious, and service was quick
I got my meal in less than 15 minutes. We sat outside near the cart to eat, which added to the authentic street food experience. The Thai milk tea was especially good, perfectly balanced.

Portions are generous that I couldn’t finish mine and had to take the rest to go.
Prices are fair, making this an easy recommendation. If you’re in the area, you definitely need to check this place out
They have delivery as well.

So good.
Don’t let the small food cart make you think it’s not worth the tasting.

Good amount of spice and full of flavor.

Picked up a to-go order and well worth it.

Chicken Wings is full of flavor. Good crunch. I like mine a little more crunchy.

Fish cakes are decent. It’s pretty much like everywhere else. Good flavor, though.

Curry was delicious. Right amount of spice.

Fried rice is delicious

Noodles are yummy and good flavor.

Its worth every dime.
Ill be back when I’m in the area.

I’ve eaten here 2 or 3 times now, and it’s probably some of the best Thai I’ve had in PDX. The lady here is so kind and the pad kee mao and pad see ew are so good. Spice level is on point. Definitely try this spot!

Found this place conveniently located down the street from my hotel. Well, a little more than down the street.. but a 10 min walk was definitely worth it!! I got the pad kee mao, spicy w shrimp, for $14. The serving size was good enough for me to save a little later for a snack sized meal. The flavor is full and deep and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Definitely adding this to my list of places for great Thai food! Can’t wait to come back and try other choices. The little food stand just smelled so good!!

Food was pretty terrible. The wings taste and feel like they are microwaved, soggy and had a funny taste to them. The Tom Kha was all coconut and lime, no other flavor. I honestly didn’t finish it. Only thing that was decent were l the prices. But you get what you pay for I guess.

This is an amazing hidden gem, the food is delicious! It’s like a permanent food truck, there is no indoor seating, though there is a picnic table on the side, so it’s great if you’re looking to grab and go. I had the pad Thai with chicken and my boyfriend had the pad kee mow and both were fantastic and our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. They are closed on Sundays.

I ordered off of Uber eats. It looks like this place had a pretty good review so I went for it. My order was incorrect. I ordered Pad Se Ew and got Pad Se Mao. I ordered the fresh rolls, and they were super basic. I also ordered the basil fried rice, and there was some egg in it, which was not on the ingredient. The food was tasty enough, but it was so oily.
