The people were super kind and the food was tasty. I got That Fried Rice with shrimp. I opted for #3 on their spicy scale (1-5) which was perfect. I will mention the shrimp still had the tails. No issue for me but I know some don’t care for it. My son got Pad Thai with level 3 spiciness and hubby got Duck Curry with level 5 spiciness. Both enjoyed their meals and ate every bite. We also got crispy spring rolls that were perfect. They were accompanied by a tasty sweet n sour type sauce.
Although seating is limited here we had no issue being seated immediately at around 230 pm on a Saturday.
One star off only because personally, the price was a bit high for me- for example, most Thai restaurants that I go to, when ordering curry, Rice is included. That is not the case for this restaurant, you have to pay an extra dollar just to get Rice with your curry; kinda strange. Perhaps it’s the location that’s why food is a bit pricier? I think I would understand if it was five star curry but this is not five star curry. It’s a delicious curry, but it’s not so crazy Good where I would pay an extra dollar just to eat it with Rice.
Overall 4/5.
Went here with a friend for lunch. Small restaurant next to a couple others with parking in the back. Turn on Reagan into the lot. Full on a Wed afternoon which speaks to good business. Has lunch specials on the weekdays! $13 for a selected entree from a list as well as Tom Yum soup. Not a huge deal but prob $2 off plus soup. I got the Thai fried rice with chicken and also got Thai tea. Flavor wasn’t too strong which was a welcome surprise given my experience at other Thai places, but it was almost too plain. Thai tea was a little on the strong side and bitter for me as well. Portions were good. Service was decently fast. Not a bad lunch option if you’re craving for Thai and in the area.
(I do wish I got more beef in the drunken noodles but maybe I’m greedy haha)
Everyone was really sweet and helpful when I walked in. They even throw in a free egg roll and Thai tea for their lunch special!
Glad I found this spot. Will be back again!
I was asked not to talk on the phone, and on my way out, another woman said, “I don’t want to hear your conversations.”
I’m not going back. Too many Thai restaurants, to have someone get in my face.
