Thailicious was absolutely amazing! Every dish was full of bold, authentic flavor and incredibly delicious. You can truly taste the care in each dish! The prawn pad Thai was so good and the Duck curry was one of the best we’ve ever had! Crispy and full of flavor! The atmosphere is simple, but the food is worth it! We’ll definitely be back!

Great new spot! Phad Thai had a little too much tomato (is it even supposed to?) and chicken was a little dry, but our other 2 dishes were great – green curry and sweet and sour shrimp. Great shrimp fresh spring rolls as well.

I am used to going to Bangkok Thai in Sarasota. Their food is always a five. Their packaging for to go orders not always so great. So I saw a lot of good reviews for Thailicious and thought I would try it on Sunday since not a lot is open. They weren’t particularly busy. Unfortunately, I ordered a Thai salad. That was nothing but mixed green and there was no Romain to be found in it anywhere I did call and complained and they gave me a refund. Then I opened the spicy basil leaves with chicken. There is a huge mound of rice in there and not near the portion that I get at Bangkok. Food was OK. Then we opened up the kids portion of chicken fried rice and I could hardly find the chicken in it. It’s caught up so tiny and they’re so little. Flavor is good. Maybe they just had a bad afternoon today. It is Sunday after all.

We ate here Sunday at around noon and beat the crowds… Server informed us that it was his first day on the job…he did fine…Miss Joy was our chef and it was clearly and abundantly obvious that it was NOT her first day preparing food. There was a lot of food for my wife and I, but we could not stop eating. The flavors were delicious and a real “Chef’s Kiss”. The inside of the restaurant is bright and clean.

This was some of the most flavorful Thai food I’ve had in a long while. After an appt in Sarasota, I was craving a decent Asian meal and found this on Google maps with high reviews and thought I’d try it. So impressed am I that I am sharing pics and high reviews !! High hopes for Thai-licious, but the experience fell short.
The appetizer started things off nicely—egg rolls were crisp and flavorful. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Among our group, opinions were mixed: one-third thought it was bad, another third said it was just okay, and the final third thought it was good.
The Pad Thai was dry. The tofu stir-fry was disappointing; the tofu tasted old and seemed like it had been cooked multiple times. The Khao Mun Gai looked promising but the dipping sauce was not very good, and the Khao Mun Crispy Chicken was underwhelming. The chicken pieces were small and looked like stir-fry cuts that had just been dipped in batter—definitely not the crispy, juicy pieces we expected.
The redeeming dish was the Drunken Noodles with Duck—full of flavor.
Overall, the experience was just so-so. That said, I’m willing to give it another try and explore more of the menu. The place has potential, and I hope they make a few improvements.

Quality control is terrible and the customer service is even worse. Ordered pad Thai via DoorDash, came with an unidentified ingredient throughout which upon googling I suspect is a tamarind seed. one of which was hard as a rock (see video for proof!) husband cracked a tooth. Requested a call back, got a call from John the owner. I explained politely and even tried to be nice by saying the food had good flavor. John was not apologetic, did not ask follow up questions, said “I don’t know what to tell ya. You’re not gonna like what I have to say” then proceeded to say that the tooth could’ve been cracked before. He flat out stated “We’re not taking responsibility” and for the record, I didn’t ask a thing of him, simply explained what happened. He was one of the rudest people. This isn’t how you as an owner set a precedent to treat customers, especially not as a new business, and it certainly isn’t how you make pad Thai. My advice is to stay far away unless you want pain, a dentist bill, and a frustrating conversation!

The absolute best food I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating! The best in general not even referencing Asian food which is my favorite so I might be biased but seriously just all togeather the best I’ve ever had and the portions and prices are wonderful ontop of it all. Staff were welcoming and gracious. We had basil spring rolls, pad Thai and mushroom and ginger stir fry. Chef Joy made our afternoon a happy one and we were grateful to have happened upon this real treasure. Much success to this establishment
