We have a pretty good Thai restaurant close to our house and we’ve been there quite a few times. It’s nicely decorated with Thai themes and decorations. There was only one person working on the wait staff but she was pretty nice and attentive. The menu is mainly Thai but there are other Asian dishes to include Japanese like sushi and tempura. We got a sweet potato tempura for an appetizer, the wife had Massaman curry with shrimp and I got the spicy Thai noodles with pork. Our food was very tasty and well prepared, the vegetables were firm and not over cooked. The portion sizes were on the larger side which we like…..leftovers for another meal. We have tried a few other Thai restaurants in the area and so far this is the best one… and it’s close to home. If you like authentic, spicy Thai food we recommend you give Thai Lanna a try….

It was my boyfriend and I first time coming here and it was so peaceful. The staff was very friendly and patient. The chicken dumplings are good with the garlic sauce, the sweet and sour chicken was delicious. If you want dessert the fried ice cream is a must.

We had a wonderful lunch here today! Chose the Chicken Panang Curry and the Sweet & Sour Chicken, both were spiced medium and delicious. Love how they serve the rice in a heart shape! Highly recommend Thai Lanna & Sushi.

We stopped here for a late lunch (4:00 p.m.), and was not disappointed. I had the Pad See Ew with beef – fresh, hot and delicious coupled along with a cold Singha. My husband had a few appetizers and really enjoyed the chicken satay with peanut sauce along with the Tom Kha Gai soup which was nicely spiced and perfect for a cool day like today was. The service was fast, with the atmosphere being quiet and comfortable.

The atmosphere was quiet given, they were not busy at all during 1pm. Service was good but the food was not the welcome pallet service I was expecting given that guess it’s my first time trying Thai food. I ordered the seafood Pad Thai, I am sea food lover and my African pallet was excited. If you are ordering to go, the lunch special does not come with soup only When dinning in but it does come with an appetizer of the day and it was Puff( like samosa) that was delicious. It came with 1 tiger shrimp,1 Scallop, 2 mini Twix sized squids, and 1 Green muscle for the protein. The pad Thai was okay, first try was enough, shrimp didn’t disappoint in its natural flavor, everything else was bland, the scallop was very fishy. The sauce on the side was nice but it didn’t redeem the bland proteins. Total $18.22. For the food I received it was not worth the price. First time ever tried their food and for me personally I think my first time was more than enough.

You can read all the reviews you want . . So the staff does not have a full conversation….really.

Decent thai food for the Wesley Chapel/ New tampa area. The restaurant was very clean and the server was friendly. We ordered the papaya salad and the whole fish. Very reasonably priced.

While my previous experiences at this restaurant were generally positive, my recent visit was a stark contrast. Upon entering, I was immediately put off by a strange, musty smell. The empty dining room should have been a red flag, but past experiences led us to stay.
Our server, who may have been the owner, was dismissive and rude, responding to every inquiry with sarcasm. The quality of the food was equally disappointing. The snapper, a dish I’ve enjoyed in the past, was clearly not fresh and the breading was undercooked and thick.
Unfortunately, this negative experience has completely soured my perception of this restaurant. I will not be returning.

My friends and I were really in the mood for Thai food, so we decided to grab dinner from Thai Lanna & Sushi. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately impressed by the stunning decor which transported us to Thailand.
We were quickly seated at our table and our server brought us menus and glasses of water. After perusing the menu, we began our meal with Chicken Gyoza. For our main course, we ordered Chicken Green Curry with Spicy Noodles. To finish off the meal, we ordered Mango and sticky Rice for dessert.
The service was excellent and our food arrived promptly. We started with the Chicken Gyoza which was absolutely delicious and set the tone for a fantastic meal. The Green Chicken Curry was perfectly cooked with tender chicken and flavorful vegetables. The Spicy Noodles were also quite flavorful and packed with vegetables and chicken. Finally, we indulged in the Mango Sticky Rice which was the perfect ending to our meal.
Overall, we had an incredible dining experience at Thai Lanna. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was both amazing and satisfying.

Fantastic little Thai restaurant hidden in a little plaza in New Tampa. You would not expect the inside to look so nice from the outside! There are tables in the middle that are next to a pond/fountain that really adds to the ambiance. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is fast & friendly! I definitely recommend a Thai tea, the spring rolls and the Mango sticky rice. So crispy and fresh! Do not let the outside of this place discourage you, it’s worth it!
