I had egg rolls as an appetizer and garlic shrimp as my main. It was just okay; nothing spectacular. The spice level was perfect and my server was sweet. The food came out pretty quickly. If I happen to go back I’ll probably try the curry.

Highly recommend! I will stop there every time I am in town! The pho is amazing and they have varying spicy levels. The spicy edamame is also a must try! The atmosphere is casual, but a little hard to find since it is underground/downstairs. However, it easily accessible off the main shopping strip in downtown Denver once you find it!

Real cool dining experience, you enter the plaza and you see it right down the stairs. Good service, friendly staff. We loved the entrees but the gyoze wasn’t impressive. Everything was made fresh tho. Also spicyness wasn’t consistent but that is minor. We were happy that the food wasn’t greasy at all

Love love love!!!! Was in Denver over the weekend and with the chilly weather I was craving some yellow curry. I’m a picky eater and I’m always skeptical about food. I was scared but I decided to go for it and hope for the best. And yes this places hit the spot. The yellow curry was super delicious. That warm green tea was so soothing. The location was pretty cool.

Such a hidden gem in downtown Denver! Sushi is amazing! So flavorful and great quality of fish too. I can’t wait to come back and try Thai food from hot kitchen. Service was wonderful and I can’t believe this place is right here by 16th St mall. Good vibes and I get to walk around downtown after this. I’ll be back for sure.

Incredible! I am always looking for GEMS like this restaurant! So refreshing to get above and beyond customer service! I ordered to go but now I wish I had eaten inside the restaurant. The owners are so incredibly lovely and their customer service is top notch! I just arrived in Denver and I can’t wait to go back to have this delicious food again! And if that wasn’t all, their dishes, portions and prices are AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much for making a difference, it’s so hard to find wonderful restaurants with good service and you guys restored my faith in humanity! Thank you! Everything was delicious. Next time I will enjoy it dinning in.
Also, great location! Don’t hesitate to check this restaurant out, it’s a must!
I ordered the miso soup and the ginger entree with chicken.

Owner and son who also served were very friendly. I asked for Thai style papaya salad and she accommodated well. Felt like home. My mom is from Chiang Mai. Was a great stop.

Thai Lanna was the perfect place for a quick, affordable and tasty dinner in downtown Denver. The restaurant is located in a downstairs and indoors area, so the atmosphere is not the nicest but the food makes up for it. The service is quite functional and not overly friendly for US standards but gets things done and I quite liked their no-nonsense approach. I had the tom yum soup for the starter and the Thai basil fried rice with chicken and brown sauce for the main. Both were good but the main was better and more satisfying. It had the perfect spiciness (they ask you how spicy you want it, which is a nice feature), packing a punch without being overbearingly hot. The tom yum could have had a bit more depth and was slightly on the sour side but still very good. The prices are fair for downtown Denver.
