Thai place has changed ownership. Previous owners were also very nice and food was delicious. However these new owners are even more hospitable. I had the Thai basil with chicken and a Thai iced tea, it was beyond delicious. I sat outside and enjoyed it highly. The portions are not small, it’s a good quantity. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Delicious! First time trying them but the food was amazing and struck me as really authentic (and I’ve been to Thailand twice!). The red curry chicken was outstanding and I really enjoyed the Tom Yum Shrimp soup was yummy! I will definitely go back!!

The BEST place to get Thai food in Bergenfield!!! My friends and i come weekly. We always and i mean always get Pork Pad Thai. We’re addicted to it. Prices are amazing and Yada cooks with such great love and passion, it shows through her food. If you’re a spice lover this is the place for you. You can order your food spicy if you dare. Thai Kitchen By Yada is a MUST TRY! and trust me you wont be disappointed.

Terrible.
The people are very friendly. Perhaps that’s why the reviews are as positive as they are. But these high ratings simply can’t be based on food!
Sloppy, crudely and unevenly cut, enormous, chunks of chicken with the cheapest, most blah, basic vegetables thrown in. Nothing Thai about that at all. Greasy. Very oily.
Looking over the menu, we noticed the prices were lower than we expected. My friend told them we were accustomed to Bangkok Garden in Hackensack, and these people specifically told him that their food is “better!” Ha ha!
You get what you pay for.
Omg! Tried it twice, like a fool, just to be sure.
Awful.

Very rude on the phone. We were questioning the menu items and what we get for the lunch special. The man on the phone said if we didn’t have the money we shouldn’t call them and then he hung up the phone. My wife really wanted Thai food so she called back and spoke with someone else that helped her out. While the food tasted good, definitely not worth the $7 and $9 for the lunch specials. Barely any meat and a lot of vegetables. Total Rip-off. We will not go back! #1 Chinese blows it away as far as bang for the buck. FYI, I lived in Asia, my wife is Asian – I know what I’m talking about – Stay away from here!!!

I’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened and I finally did! I regret not coming here sooner.
This place has been SO many places before and I really hope it stays. It’s delicious!
I’ve been here 3 times, but only have gotten food from here twice. The first time I walked in and they were preparing a big catering order so it would’ve taken 30 minutes for just an order of soup and spring rolls. The second time I called 30 minutes before and ordered soup and spring rolls. The third time I went with another basic and got Pad Thai.
Here’s why it sometimes takes a while: the place is tiny. Like teeny tiny. Most delis have a bigger kitchen than this place. The kitchen is probably 8 x 6. The waiting area for customers probably couldn’t fit more than 3 or 4 people. No seats either. Strictly take out (although in the summer there’s a table outside). Plus it’s busy. The phone is always ringing.
Now for the food:
Shrimp Tom Yum Soup (extra spicy): Holy hell this was spicy, but I still really enjoyed it. My nose was running the whole time. Perfect balance of all the ingredients
Thai Spring Rolls: Huge compared to other Thai places. Pretty much the size of spring rolls from a Chinese place. The dipping sauce was delicious and they packed the food correctly by putting vents in the container (I’m always impressed when a place does that).
Pad Thai with Tofu (spicy): perfectly done. Sweet, spicy, salty, savory, sour. All the components of a perfect Thai dish. Again, just like the soup, it had the perfect balance of ingredients and ratios.
I could go on an on about this place (too late lol). The owner is super sweet and the food is fresh. Oh, and it’s very clean in there! She even remembered me from my first order (because I asked for extra spicy and she was worried she made it too spicy). Everyone who loves Thai food and or spicy food needs to try this place.

Great food, reasonably priced, pleasant staff.
Ask for Thai Spicy if you like it REALLY hot. But be forewarned, I love spicy food and their hot is approaching my upper heat limit.

Great Thai place hidden on a side street in bergenfield. No indoor seating but they have a few outdoor places to sit. Be aware they have sort of odd hours, so always call ahead for pick up. The chef always greats you with a smile, and the prices are extremely reasonable.

Very hot food. Temperature wise and very spicy. They were kind to try to remake my dish so I could actually chew and swallow without tearing up and my nose running. Cute little spot to eat outside only. No inside seating. Overall a cool little scene.

Just ordered $18 worth of food for lunch – one thai iced tea, one pad Kee Mao, and one appetizer of calamari. And it felt like a waste of money. The freshly made noodles and rice entrées are worth a call for lunch. However, the appetizer of calamari was over-fried, coated with stiff breading, and generally was unpleasant to eat. The sauce that came with it tasted stale. And the Thai iced tea tasted to be made out of souring stale condensed milk. I ended up throwing away the appetizer and drink bc they tasted wrong to me. You’re better off spending more at green Papaya in Hackensack or Pimaan in Emerson. It seems that the change from Yada to Yimmies went from bad to worse.
