The Thai basil chicken fried rice is amazing!! The medium heat is perfect. The yellow curry is also yummy too, very savory, pairs well with rice and the vegetables in it are cooked through. Staff is very friendly here and store environment is interesting. Would come back!

Thai Kitchen is one of my favorite places. The food is so fresh and lovely. The staff is kind and attentive. I’ve never had a bad time here. I usually have Pad See Ewe with beef at medium and find it suits me quite well. If you are not ready for spice, they are very ready to accommodate your likes. I enjoy how they’ve decorated as well. This is my go-to fast and yummy lunch spot in the cottonwood area. I even had lunch to celebrate my birthday here!

This was our first time here. We were fitted was waiting to be served. The table next to us was seated after us and their drink orders was taken before ours. Once my daughter made the server aware, he told our drink orders and meal orders. We asked for dinner portions and we got lunch portions. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were very small. If you don’t care about service and enjoy Thai food. The fresh and hot food I would give them a 5, however the portions are small. The value for the prices is not there. GO.

Date of visit: October 25, 2025, around 7:20 PM ( restaurant closes at 8pm).

I visited this restaurant with my friend and had dinner (Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, Red Curry, and Sticky Rice with Mango). Our waiter—a young, polite Latin man—was very kind and attentive. However, what happened afterward completely ruined the experience.

When we finished around 8:05 PM, the waiter tried to process our card but said the internet was down. He tried again after a few minutes, but it still didn’t go through. He told us we could either wait or give our card details, as his manager had already started noting them down on paper. We were uncomfortable with sharing our card details and explained that politely.

We spoke to the manager (or possibly the owner, she might be chinese(probably asian)), who was shockingly rude. She threw the paper (with our card details) toward us and said, “Go get cash.” When we asked about alternative options (like Zelle or waiting until the system came back up), she refused and insisted on “cash only or giving card details”.

As my friend went to withdraw cash, the manager made a racist comment loud enough for others to hear: “ALL THESE INDIAN ARE LIKE THIS, STUPID.” This was deeply offensive and unacceptable. She just stared at me while I stood there for over 15 minutes until my friend returned.

We finally paid in cash around 9:15 PM. I confronted her about it, but she showed no regret or apology. The entire situation was caused by their internet outage, yet we were treated with disrespect and racism. I wish I had still tipped the kind waiter—it wasn’t his fault.

Racism, rudeness, and unprofessionalism should never be tolerated in any business. This experience was hurtful and disappointing, especially from management.

Our server was absolutely amazing his name is Antonio. He made wonderful recommendations and made sure to check on us often. As we walked to the door a random lady let us know how wonderful the food is and she was very correct. I wish we had photographed the food but it was amazing and we were hungry. lol. Look forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

I had a birthday dinner with a group. We called ahead and the staff made sure there was a table held for us. It was the server’s first day, but he did a really good job of handling all of our questions and a few special requests. They brought a cute little bear made of an orange, and a candle and sang the birthday song to me. They also were good about letting us bring a small cake to eat after.

The food was hot and fresh. There were some items for picky eaters, like the very basic teriyaki with rice, the yellow curry was amazing.

It was really a wonderful experience, we felt very welcome and it was a special ending l evening. Highly recommended!!

Ps I do like that they switched to full service . Used to order at the cash and go find a seat, but the current set up is much better.

Thai Kitchen is our absolute favorite place to dine on the west side of Albuquerque. The staff is ultra friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, the wait time is super quick and the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend you give Thai Kitchen a try. Also, the owner is a very nice man (named Art) and I mentioned to him that my wife and I are celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. He insisted on doing something special for us and created a pair of the most adorable “good health” teddy bears you’ve ever seen made from a pair of fresh oranges. (See attached pic) 5 Stars all the way!

Thank you very much Art and the entire team at Thai Kitchen for making our 26th wedding anniversary memorable and special!

We absolutely love this place. There truly isn’t a single item on the menu that disappoints from the noodle dishes to the rice dishes to their incredible soups. Every dish comes out consistently flavorful and perfectly cooked. We’ve never had a bad meal here. Must-tries are the wonton soup, basil fried rice, and jungle noodle, but honestly, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the noodle or rice menu. It’s one of those rare spots that delivers every single time.

Service from start to finish was impeccable; attentive but not overwhelming. Ambiance was immaculate with smooth jazz in the background and beautiful decor. The food was beautifully satisfying with generous portions. The mango sweet rice was heavenly also the BEST I have tasted in the city! 10/10 recommend this place.
