It’s been 2 years but the food hasn’t missed a beat. The chicken wings. Fish cakes. Curry puffs. Thai tea I’m trying the Drunken noodles for the first time. If I make a stop to come here haleay through a 2 hour drive it is always worth it to stop here and eat.

Just shy of $14 for a quart of take-out soup (Tom Yum)… more carrots than anything. Asked for it spicy… they asked 1 thru 5… I replied 5… hot, Native! It barely had any spice. Then got home to find that there was an inch of headspace (air) in the container.
Not to mention the plastic on the windows and the space heaters on the tables in the dining room. Just sad how far down hill this place has gone.
Waitress who too the order was lovely though… just hope she finds another job before this place closes because I cant see them remaining open the way things are.

**I would like to add one important thing to all the reviews out there**
many people complain about the atmosphere, and assume it’s the owners fault (plastic over windows, cold bathroom etc). As with anything in life, don’t be so quick to judge.. this is the landlord’s fault 100%. The building’s heating system does not work, and he will not fix it adequately (as he is obligated to do so in the lease). Because she does not have the means to fix it herself, she is doing everything that she can to keep the place warm for her customers.
Thai 4 is a hidden gem in southington. The food is authentic and always amazing. The owner Patty is very sweet, and remembers your order / preferences without even asking.
She is in the process of finding a new home, so please be patient. if you like the food and the service please support her

I don’t know if they were having an off night in the kitchen, but I am genuinely shocked at the food I received. I ordered pad thai with tofu, and this is what I was given. The noodles are dry, there’s like 5 pieces of tofu, no peanuts, no lime. I paid $15 for a to go container of dry noodles with carrots, a few pieces of egg, and maybe half of a handful of bean sprouts. The woman who took my order was very nice, but this is genuinely the worst takeout I’ve had in my life. First and last time I’m going to this place.

The food was delicious. I had to get a second serving. The waiters were so kind and thankful. The inside isn’t the best, but the seats are so comfortable. The service was a little slow but worth the while. Definitely a great lunch or dinner place if you are looking for something chill but restauranty.

So I ordered two dishes to go at lunch time. I asked for dinner portions. I could tell when I left from the weight of the bag that I did not get a good deal. I paid for dinner portions and got something smaller than a typical lunch portion from other places. I could have eaten both dinner portions myself. The food was cooked excellent. Very fresh and healthy. Not sure if someone made a mistake on portions but they can notify me if so and make it right.

No stars. 47$ .chicken satay 1 chicken breast cut into 3 pieces… Thai fried rice with chicken no veg… cup and a half of rice and barely any chicken at all. . Beef drunken noodles…. Togo container half way full. If my fiancé didn’t want the rice so bad I would have returned and demanded a refund! Highly disappointed . drunken noodles had no flavor at all. On top of it .

Service was very good with extremely friendly staff. The Thai curry was bland even with a medium spice; the peppers brought out some heat but the flavor of the red curry paste was absent. Chicken satay was a hearty serving I believe they could have marinated longer or added more surface seasoning to increase the flavor; it was bland.

This place was amazing from the outside it may look a little dingy, but it is a very comfortable restaurant especially if you are looking for something chill but restauranty. All the food was home made in the kitchen and the food was so delicious I definitely recommend for everyone.
