Caught up with some friends for an informal meal at Thai Junction. I have to admit I didn’t know they were there so I was a bit dubious. My friends ordered for me so I was looking forward to try the food they chose ( the place was full and the dishes being taken to sorrounding tables by the waitresses looked very appealing). We did get our food and the flavours were absolutely perfect. The whole fish was fragrant and cooked to perfection – presentation was good and servings were generous. All my friends had plenty and enjoyed the dishes throughout the dinner – couldn’t fault the explosion of flavours we had the pleasure to experience. We went in for dinner without a reservation (two of us). The staff tried their best to accommodate us. The food was very fresh, delicious, and very well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

The fish and prawn was so smelly. We bet not fresh. Not even like “Thai” style. More like Chinese. Pad Thai also was so sour. And for that price, too expensive.

We had the tamarind fish, pork belly stir fry, and mango sticky rice — all were absolutely delicious, packed with rich, authentic flavors. The food came out impressively fast, not even five minutes after we ordered. Plenty of parking is available, which is super convenient. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving great Thai cuisine!

Sadly today’s chicken pad thai that i ordered for takeaway was really disappointing. No beansprout, no spring onion, very dry, no sauce, no flavour. And the chicken in the photo is the only chicken in the noodle.

The meat in both pad thai and tom yum soup was disgusting, they use the worse quality meat. The chicken looks and tastes plastic, noodles were tasteless. Never again!

As we love Thai cuisine, we were excited to give this place a try. Sadly, the experience was extremely disappointing, and we won’t be returning.
It’s often said that customers should be treated with respect and courtesy wherever they go. Basic manners and politeness cost nothing. Unfortunately, the older lady who took our order was very abrupt and spoke to us in a noticeably impatient tone whenever we asked simple questions about the menu. It felt as though our questions were an inconvenience rather than part of normal customer service.
The young man who brought our food to the table showed little professionalism as well. Each time he approached our table, he was pulling faces. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, not one where you feel unwelcome.
What truly crossed the line, however, was the bill. Every single item drinks and food had been charged twice. Our total came to $408 instead of the correct amount of $198. Thankfully, we reviewed the bill carefully before paying. When we raised the issue, the younger lady managing the payment immediately blamed “the system.” The restaurant was busy, yet we didn’t hear of anyone else being overcharged. It was brushed off far too quickly to feel convincing.
Trying to double charge customers and then dismissing it so casually seriously damages trust.
Very disappointing experience overall. We certainly will not be returning, nor will we be recommending this place to friends or family.

The manager and Dit are awesome, usually come for lunch. Great atmosphere, lovely staff especially Dot. Food is really delicious and we really like the Chu chi fish as they only use Barramundi. Drunken noodles is also great as is all the lunchtime specials. Cannot fault this restaurant and we have been to many in Perth and this is our favourite. My father and mother 97 and 94 also love coming here. Do yourself a favour and try it out

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on Sunday night. We didn’t have a booking but they were able to seat us.
We ordered Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and a red curry. All dishes were a good size and extremely tasty.
The pricing was pretty reasonable too.

Really reccommended place, we had lunch today starting with very nice prawn cakes and refreshing iced drinks which is perfect for this hot weather, we had pineapple seafood fried rice and its full of seafood mixture and less rice which makes it worth for the price, a tofu and vegetable pad thai with heaps of veggies are so good too, price is afforable and big serving too.
The ambience is very relaxing with alfresco option aswell.
Service is excellent especially to the ladies works in the front, my daughter was extremely happy for the free lollipop.
