I love the Thai Hut! Can’t say enough good things about this place. I always get the Thai Green Curry and it is always delicious! The servers are always friendly and accommodating. I also love making curry at home and this is the only place around to get the ingredients. Large selection of overseas brands you won’t find in the grocery store. They also have fresh Thai basil and bird’s eye chili’s.

This restaurant was originally owned by my wife’s cousin and was ok. The new owners have really done a fantastic job with the entire business. The store looks great and the restaurant is serving up awesome Thai food in no time at all. Many of the dishes are authentic like I would expect from my mom in-laws kitchen and others are more American takes. All around great place and the prices won’t be beat. You can enjoy a hot plate of food for less than a fast food combo. HIGHLY recommend!!

The worst restaurant experience I’ve had in my entire 44 year old life. The papaya salad had some brown sauce that tasted like old cloak water, the pad Thai noodles were over cooked and the tom yam soup was watery and tasteless. Stinky place too. Nice service though.

The MOST AMAZING Thai food at amazing prices! The food is fresh and authentic and Asian approved! The flavors are delicious, not over powering and excellent! Come here! Half store and half a restaurant.
Came back after many years and is still so delicious! The Boba teas and smoothies here are delicious! Thank you to the family who owns Thai Hut for providing this food!

We love this little restaurant / grocery store! The people are so nice, and the food is freshly made and perfectly seasoned. We had the summer rolls, chicken pad thai, and spicy basil stir fry. Special requests for extra spicy, mild, or no cilantro are no problem at all. These people are very accommodating.

We got a nice variety of dishes and for the most part it was all very good! The papaya salad was much much too spicy for this farang. I know it said spicy but I figured it was be American/Thai spicy! Other than that very very pleased. Not impressed with the service, the man working was not very nice.

Not much room for larger grips due to a store in the building. Like a Thai Cracker barrel without all the clothes. Check isn’t dropped off at your table, you go to the register and pay on your way out. The servers do visit the table frequently though.

I love this place! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I live 45 minutes away and will eat in and order 1 or 2 meals to go which I freeze to eat later at home. The eating area is part of a convenience store/ grocery store. So if you are looking for a typical restaurant atmosphere, you will not find that here. Take in a live play at the Joy Theatre across the street and make it a real enjoyable evening!

It’s a hole in the wall kind of place, inside a little store. Don’t let that dissuade you. Seat yourself and enjoy. My food was excellent! Red curry w/Tofu & and a honeydew bubble tea. My boyfriend had cashew chicken, he said it was banging.

Wonderful dinner! I judge every Thai restaurant by it’s Larb. They did a superb job with it! I got the combo which came with a beef broth soup and sticky rice. The very large portion of soup had a healthy amount of tripe, beef tendon, beef slices, very fresh and perfectly cooked vegetables with a light taste. I was very impressed with this establishment. The Asian market was fully stocked with all the hard to find goodies you’d expect. I was able to get a sweet dried squid snack that I haven’t been able to find since I was in FL and some great dipping sauce for my Larb that I’ll be able to take home and enjoy along with the other groceries I also bought. Great prices. Great food. Friendly staff. I’m glad I stopped in. It’s about 35-45 minutes from north Charlotte and I’d make that drive anytime to enjoy such authentic food. Lifelong customer after 1 trip. Highly recommend!
