The minute we walked we were greeted with a big smile and very friendly servers. We had their noodles, shrimp rolls and fried rolled shrimp in wonton wrappers. It was enough food for the 2 of us. We were very satisfied with full stomach. We highly recommend this place!

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. The service was incredibly attentive and welcoming—you really get that warm, family-owned feel here.
The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the chef’s favorites, the pad Thai, and the crispy tofu (don’t miss out on the sauces—they take everything to the next level!). They ask if you want spice from a level 1-5 and I’ll warn you level 2 is SPICY and none of our group could handle level 3 which is extra spicy. Every dish was packed with flavor and the portions were massive! Definitely made for sharing 2-3 people per dish.
If you’re in Canmore and looking for authentic, delicious Thai food with exceptional service, Thai House is a must-visit.

I wouldn’t say the food are authentic Thai, but they do taste good. They tend to have strong flavors/salty so you might feel thirsty afterwards. Recommend to make a reservation as the place can get crowded around dinner time. The wait time is also long as there are take out orders as well.

We visited as a group of five and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience — both in terms of food and service.
Several dishes were noticeably lacking in flavour. The tom yum soup was bland, missing the distinctive sour and spicy notes that define the dish. The stir-fried vegetables were undercooked and unseasoned, making them difficult to enjoy. The chicken Pad Thai was overly wet, visually unappetizing, and overwhelmingly sweet, with no balance in taste.
On top of the underwhelming food, the service was poor. Staff noticed when we needed assistance but made no effort to help. When we provided feedback at the end of the meal, it was dismissed without much concern. Despite the experience, I still left a 5% tip out of courtesy on top of the 18% Graduity — only to be met with dissatisfaction from the staff, as though it wasn’t enough. Frankly, even 5% felt overly generous given the level of service we received.
Overall, we left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope this feedback encourages improvement.

We stopped by Thai House in Canmore and were genuinely impressed! The flavors were bold, authentic, and comforting—exactly what we needed after a day exploring the mountains. The curries were rich and aromatic, the pad Thai was perfectly balanced, and the spring rolls were fresh and crispy. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s a cozy spot with a great menu and solid portions. Whether you’re craving something spicy or just a warm, satisfying meal, this place delivers. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

A little cozy restaurant that offers Thai in the middle of a hiking/skiing town. We were surprised by the quality of food and that is really a tall order to fill for a land locked location. Portions is quite large but our eyes were bigger than our stomach. Each dish can be shares amongst 2-3 people.

Stopped for lunch and we had the drunken noodle and Kang ped sapparod curry. The drunken noodle were good but we’ve definitely had better. Felt a bit dry and the noodles a bit to rubbery. The curry however was delicious. This one is red curry with pineapples, tomatoes, basil and asparagus. The flavours were so good and the spice level perfect. The price is on the higher side but the portions are big so perfect for sharing. The rice is not included however. Service was nice and quick. Will be back when in Canmore again but will stick to curry dishes.

Curry doesn’t come with rice. Which is ridiculous.
Ordered online and told me to come 35 minutes later. I hate cold food so I went there in 20 minutes and food was already bagged.
The Tom Yum soup was lukewarm. Curry was pretty good.
The fried rice was burnt and unedible.
When my wife picked this place, I told her that we would only be disappointed and sadly I was right.

We were having a craving for Thai food and Thai House Restaurant is what we’d HIGHLY recommend. We’ve tried Thai food from several cities and this one hits the spot. Also, an amazing location with an unbeatable view as well.
We got the Masaman Curry, Fried Fish, Spring Rolls, and Chicken Satay, all were phenomenal. If you want authentic Thai food, this is one spot we’d recommend but let them know you want that Thai spice for real authentic Thai food.
The masaman curry was rich in flavor a hint of sweetness, and a mellow flavor. The potatoes were nearly creamy in your mouth and the chicken was made very well, especially glazed in the curry. This is one curry dish that does not disappoint, especially at this location.
The fried fish was excellent! I would HIGHLY recommend getting this dish as it was crispy and soft. Eat it with a curry dish and it will make you full quickly and wanting MORE.
The employees are super nice, welcoming, and helpful. We got our water refilled quickly and got our tableware immediately with our water as well.
