Such a disappointment been going here for years ! I’m a red seal chef and so is my husband. We brought friends and they were chef as well. Pad Thai sweet and half a portion couldn’t believe it ! Calamari was maybe a 1 cup portion maybe 8 pices terrible batter, rice portion was ok all other dishes were like 2 portions kids sizes this was a huge , huge dissapiontment! I might also add the waters came asked for lemon only got two lemons? Then it wasn’t enough food ordered 3 appetizers and 4 dishes off reg menu ! Bill was $154 American for 4 ppl which was over $200 Canadian not good. I just looked at our pics from the last time wow it’s definitely 1/2 a portion. The flavors are good ! But do better lots better ! Reading reviews lots of people are voicing the same opinions.

I am so disappointed to be leaving this review. I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid, I have never had a bad experience until last night.
To begin with, we were not given silverware or napkins, I had to ask once the food was dropped by. We ordered: 1 x Pad Thai Tofu no bean sprouts or eggs, 1 x Pad Thai Chicken no bean sprouts or eggs and 1 x Green Curry with duck. The curry came out right and we were given 2 x Pad Thai Chicken with tofu and no bean sprouts or eggs.
I am vegetarian and have an egg and dairy sensitivity, I initially thought the chicken was egg and brought it back and said I was sorry but I couldn’t eat this due to the egg. She told me it was not egg and was chicken. I told her – oh, well I definitely cannot eat that either, I am vegan and ordered Pad Thai Tofu. She said okay she would remake it. It came out like 2 minutes later and my friend mentioned how fast that was compared to when we ordered. I had tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, until I found small pieces of chicken still left in my food. I suspect that they took the plate back and tried to pull out the chicken instead of remaking it, like they offered. I brought it back AGAIN and they said the same thing, we will just remake it. At this point, I said I don’t want it remade, I don’t trust it will actually be remade.
They did not apologize at all, I clearly stated my dietary restrictions and they did not even discount my friends meals, only took mine off but it ruined our whole dinner and I had to go somewhere else to eat after. Their page on google highlights vegan options, and the menu says to inform your server of any food allergies or restrictions. I do not feel that this is a “safe” place to eat for people with allergies, preferences or restrictions. I should not have to carefully pick through my food to assure it has no meat after being told it was going to be remade. I am extremely disappointed and will not be going there again, it feels like flat out disrespect and disregard.

My wife and I cross the border from Vancouver once in awhile for a few hours to go to Costco and Trader Joes. Today we decided to have dinner here at 6pm. Place was pretty empty, with 2 other groups dining in. There was no server when we walked in so we helped ourselves to a table. Good thing there was a menu on the table because we didn’t see anyone working. Then we saw 1, then 2, then 3 ppl come out of the kitchen. Its been 10min now and nobody came to greet us. We were about to leave, then finally someone came to ask us what we wanted. Glad we stayed, the food was good! Spent $39 including tip. That’s about $57 CAD. Lots of parking outside.

Amazing food, if you’ve never been highly reccomend any of the chefs specials. Cannot go wrong with any of them. Beware unlike some of the more Americanized Thai places in Bellingham this one’s spice levels are real, so go down a star level.

Food was very oily, Thai tea was all cream, they forgot the egg rolls in our order, crab Rangoon was burnt and the mango in our mango sticky rice was brown/black. That was just wrong to sell to someone! We threw our dinner away and ordered somewhere else. $120 down the drain.

I got the Missanaga (sp?) curry. The curry was water down and the portions are small. Not enough meat but that is expected for Thai foods. They gave me a tiny bowl of rice. My server for my Coke I ordered. The ambient music was nice though and very relaxing.

Small hole in the wall Thai food place, food has gone downhill a bit from what I remember years ago. Probably my 3rd favorite thai place in Bellingham, however, I have not tried them all, there are quite a few. We had the Lunch Pad thai / green curry combo and the Pad see ew. Pad thai is one of the better ones I have tried, not to tomato or BBQ tasting. Some places tend to go heavily on on side of the other of that fence, this one has it spot on. Pad see ew was nothing to write home about.

We came to Bellingham just for this restaurant, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The food is so amazing here and the people working here are very nice as well! Service was quick so we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. I highly recommend their pad Thai and deep fried tofu. Their tofu is literally the best I’ve ever tried. I can say that I’ll definitely be back to this place.

I had a long day of travel and wanted some good filling food. The portions of this restaurant is unbelievable compared to another thai place I have been to. The rice a small 8oz and half a small tub. The vegetables were like frozen veggies not fresh. It was not a fresh or decent portion at all for 20 dollars.

I only give it 4 stars because I can never get ahold of them on the phone and only have one size thai iced tea.
I got chicken phad thai, chicken thai angel , fried spring rolls, and of course thai iced tea. if are one of those people who get phad thai PLEASE try thai angel!! its more flavorfull and has more veggies. my mom doesn’t like curry but loved this to find out its curry!!
the spring rolls are a little spicy( like pepper type spicy), very good with the sweet chili sauce.
price wasn’t to bad . I can eat it several times.
