We visited Thai House for lunch in late June 2017. My cashew nut chicken was fine; nothing exceptional. They got my “three stars” spice request correct. My wife’s pad siew was “poor.” It came in a bowl filled with white noodles. The sauce was on the bottom of the bowl, and there was not much of it. We were the second of only two parties at the restaurant at the time of service, yet I was served much later than the rest of my family. One of my daughters was almost done by the time I was served, though she is a fast eater. One of my daughters and I ordered dishes with rice. The rice came in a very large mound that seemed to “dwarf” the rest of the dish; too much rice compared to the other ingredients. This was our first visit to Jacksonville; we will try a different restaurant next time.

This place is wonderful! It is under new ownership and chef Drew is awesome. Orange chicken served with rice is our go to. There was plenty for 3 people, the chicken was lightly battered but just the right crispiness and the sauce had a wonderful flavor of citrus. Very good we will be back.

Wonderful! Great people and amazing Thai food! Always busy and their hours are a bit irregular but it’s totally worth it. The Tom Kha soup is amazing, as are all the vegetable dishes and the seafood is always fresh and good as well. Love it!

Under new management so we thought we’d give it a try. Upon entry we were invited to choose a table and were immediately tried to be upsold on tea and appetizers which was a bit annoying. Although the decor looked nice the air smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The drunken noodles were of good size and display, but tasted like a mixture of Indian curry spices and oregano. The spicy eggplant sauce was decent. We were told we could not get steamed tofu so we opted for chicken. The chef and waitstaff seemed to lack authenticity for cooking Thai food -they seemed to be trying but came up short. I do appreciate then non styrofoam to-go containers but not sure if I want to eat the left overs?

Service was ok. Atmosphere is good but close to road so a little noisy. Food is mediocre. Much better Thai food in the valley so I won’t be going back anytime soon despite living in jville. I asked for a spice tray and they brought me chili paste and chili flakes:/ I hope they get some help in the kitchen or this place won’t make it long. Pop gan mai.

Avoid the Thai House in Jacksonville. The food is bland, but more importantly it is not at all worth the long, long wait.

My Pad Thai did not taste like Pad Thai in the slightest, the drunken noodle was egg noodles with no flavor, the chicken was overcooked, service was mediocre. Saw a couple get their food, take a few bites, and leave while we were there. The Thai iced tea was okay. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t understand how this place is still open.
